The most eyebrow-raising name on Kizz Daniel’s new album might not be a Nigerian act at all. British rapper Tinie Tempah shows up on a track called “Brown Paper Bag,” and that alone tells you Kizz Daniel is thinking well beyond the usual Afrobeats circuit with this project.
The album is called Radio Gidi, and it drops October 16, 2026. Kizz Daniel confirmed the title, the date, and a full tracklist via social media, giving fans a proper first look at what he has been building.
The guest list runs twelve artists deep across twelve tracks, pulling from Nigeria, Jamaica, Ghana, and the UK. Jamaican dancehall artist Jahmiel links up with Qing Madi on a track called “Enough,” while Ghanaian dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale appears on “Te Amo,” which is a pairing that will get attention across West Africa and beyond.
On the Nigerian side, Kizz Daniel has stacked the album with some of the country’s most talked-about names right now.
Seyi Vibez and BNXN share a track called “Taba,” which is the kind of combination that fans of contemporary Nigerian music have been wanting to hear together for a while.
Young Jonn appears on “Owo Oluwa” alongside producer Krizbeatz and Wave Choir, which suggests Kizz Daniel is leaning into layered, producer-driven sounds on at least part of the record. Mannywellz and Kunmie also feature together on “Area Code,” adding some texture to a lineup that could easily have just gone for the biggest names available.
FOLA gets the first proper feature slot on the album, appearing on “Lost Time,” which is track two after the opener “48hrs.” That sequencing puts a relatively emerging name early in the running order, which is a quiet but deliberate choice.
Not everyone is convinced the feature list alone is enough to judge the project. Some fans online have pointed out that Kizz Daniel’s last few releases leaned heavily on collaborations, and they are waiting to hear whether the solo cuts like “In the Shower,” “Forever (Can I),” “ABD,” and “December” are where the real weight of the album sits.
The tracklist also includes a closing run of songs that are light on features, which could mean Kizz Daniel is saving his most personal material for the back half.
Radio Gidi is shaping up to be one of the more internationally minded Afrobeats albums announced this year, and October 16 is not that far off.
