Mortimer’s European and UK run won’t happen this winter, but the dates aren’t gone.
In an Instagram post, the Jamaican reggae singer said a serious injury has left him unable to travel internationally, so the November and December 2026 shows are being pushed to March 2027.
“Hey family ive been dealing with a serious injury, and as a result, im currently unable to travel internationally,” he wrote. He didn’t say what the injury is, how it happened, or how long recovery will take.
That lack of detail will leave some fans wondering how he’s doing. Others will likely take the hint that he wants to keep the medical side private for now and focus on the fact that he has a return date.
The upside is that the shows were rescheduled, not cancelled outright. Mortimer credited his team and “all the promoters” with finding new dates, writing, “I will be back in March 2027 for a new series of shows, and I look forward to seeing you all then!”

For ticket holders, the key detail is that “all tickets remain valid for the new dates.” He directed fans to the individual venue websites for the updated schedule and ticket information rather than posting a full list of dates.
The post tagged a spread of venues and promoters connected to the tour, including Melkweg in Amsterdam and Quasimodo in Berlin.
Kammgarn, VK Concerts, La Place Hip Hop, Punch Records, UClub, Help Jamaica and Jah Live Productions were also tagged, giving a sense of how many rooms and partners had to agree on new dates.
Moving that many shows at once is a real logistical job. Getting every promoter to commit to a shared window in March 2027 suggests the tour was reworked as a whole rather than patched together one date at a time.
There are two sides to this. Fans who planned around a November or December show will now wait months longer, and some may not be able to make a March date.
For anyone who already has a ticket, though, keeping their ticket without going through a refund and repurchase is about as smooth as a postponement gets.
Mortimer has become a familiar name in modern roots reggae through his work with Protoje’s In.Digg.Nation Collective.
His live shows are a big part of how he connects with audiences abroad, so stepping back from travel is not a small decision.
“Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support. Much love,” he signed off. Updated dates should appear on the venue sites as each one confirms its new spot in the March 2027 schedule, and fans will be watching for any news on his recovery before then.
