A’mari To Go On Promotional Tour In Africa

Social media influencer and entertainer A’mari DJ Mona Lisa is scheduled to do a promotional tour of several countries in Africa.

This will be her first promotional trip to the ‘Dark Continent’.

“It’s my first time.  After the offset of “Neko” so much was occurring all at once and I had to make choices yet I kept this particular tour in the forefront of my mind.  It means so much to me to be on ancestral territories following the footsteps of Marcia Griffiths and other  influential female artist that I look up to. It strengthens me as a woman,” A’mari, given name Veneice Fung-Chung, told DancehallMag.

A’mari recently scored a major hit with the release of Neko which registered over a million streams across several streaming platforms and followed that up with the singles, Titanium and Superstar.

During her last trip to Jamaica, the controversial artiste generated a lot of attention when she was forced to appear before the St JamesParish Court after she was charged with breaching the Disaster Risk Management Act and for using indecent language in a police station.
