Travis Scott and Drake are on the same song again, and nobody saw it coming. The meeting point is “Ya Hit,” a surprise single from Future that dropped November 6 and also pulls in rising Florida rapper Loe Shimmy.

The last time Drake and Travis shared a record was 2023’s “Meltdown.” Things looked a lot frostier after that, especially once the feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar blew up and everyone started picking sides.

Travis landed right in the middle of that one. He drew scrutiny for encouraging crowds to play “Like That,” the Future and Metro Boomin record that helped set the whole rivalry off, so hearing him next to Drake now feels like a real shift.

ATL Jacob handles production on the track, which keeps things firmly in Atlanta territory. Sexyy Red also turns up with extra adlibs, so the credits run pretty deep for a song nobody knew was coming.

For Drake and Future, this isn’t even their first link up of the year. The pair already connected on “Ran to Atlanta” from Drake’s Iceman project, which makes “Ya Hit” their second collaboration in 2026.

That detail matters, given how much Future’s role in the Kendrick saga shaped the conversation around both of them. Two tracks in one year looks less like a one off and more like a working relationship that’s back on its feet.

Fans are already asking if the old alliances are officially back. Some read it as a peace offering, while others see a smart commercial play from artists who know these names together still guarantee attention.

There’s another angle beyond the drama. Big posse cuts stacked with superstars used to be everywhere in mainstream rap, but they’ve become much rarer, and putting four distinct voices on one record feels like a throwback to that era.

Loe Shimmy is the wild card here. Placing a newer Florida artist alongside Future, Drake and Travis is a fast way to push him in front of a massive audience, and that could end up being the most lasting result of the whole thing.

Ya Hit” also works as the first official taste of Future’s upcoming album. Details on that project are still scarce, which leaves plenty of room for speculation about who else might show up.

Expectations are high either way. His last outing, “The Real Me,” debuted at No. 1, and now the question is how many more surprises Future is holding before the album lands.
