Popcaan Unveils ‘Great Is He’ Album Tracklist
After months of teasing supporters, Popcaan’s fifth studio album Great Is He (GIHE), will be released on January 27.
The Risky deejay has so far shared five singles from the 17-track project, his 2022 tracks Skeleton Cartier and Set It, his collab with Toni-Ann Singh titled Next To Me, another collab with Drake titled We Caa Done, and the album’s title track, Great Is He.
The album will also feature Chronic Law, on a track titled St. Thomas native, and Burna Boy, on a track titled Aboboyaa, which is a name for three-wheeled bikes in Ghana.
An official music video is expected for Aboboyaa.

We Caa Done opened at No. 16 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, No. 36 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, and No. 61 on the UK Singles Chart.
Great Is He will be Popcaan’s first full-length project since FIXTAPE, which dropped in August 2020 under OVO Sound.
FIXTAPE, Popcaan’s 4th, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and also cracked the Billboard 200 chart with a significant showing at No. 94 after raking in sales of approximately 8,800 total units with streaming during its first week.
According to data provided to DancehallMag, from Billboard’s sales tracker Luminate Data, FIXTAPE moved over 34,000 units in 2021.
In 2014, Popcaan released his debut studio album, Where We Come From under Dre Skull’s Mixpak Records. It peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart.
His sophomore album Forever was also done under the auspices of Mixpak Records, with production again being primarily handled by Dre Skull. Forever entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 171 and had also peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae albums chart.
Popcaan, whose given name is Andrae Sutherland, signed to Drake’s OVO Sound in late 2018, and one year later, he released his third album Vanquish on the Canadian label. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, just as its predecessors did.
The deejay has also released two EPs; the first was Link Up – a joint effort with labelmate Preme that was released in November 2020. In February 2021, his Gyalentine’s EP was released with four tracks.
