Some Jamaican Dancehall artists are surely full of feelings on this Valentine’s Day. While Dancehall heavyweight Popcaan dropped a string of new singles today from his latest EP dubbed Gyalentine’s, others such as Aidonia, Jahmiel, Nklyne, Prohgres & Shaneil Muir joined in with singles of their own to serenade the ladies – Dancehall style.

Produced by his Unruly Record Label, Popcaan’s Gyalentine’s EP includes the singles, Good Only, Wine All Day, Feel Right, and Bruck It Off, which completes the 4- track collection that released this afternoon.

Popcaan – Good Only

The track Good Only is a tender sounding ballad with Popcaan fawning over a lover in overly passionate details. The deejay is simply weak to the knees for this one, describing her beauty and femme fatale attributes as Good Only; he also exposes her exceptional lovemaking skills in the bedroom.

Popcaan – Wine All Day

The very sauvé and seductive Poppy says he makes her Wine All Day in this new track. She just can’t get enough of the Unruly Boss, he makes her feel as if she’s flying like a kite and has her hitting high notes like Lila Iké when she screams.

Popcaan – Feel Right

In dedication to another of his fantastic flings, Poppy expresses his appreciation in this single to the one that Feel Right. She’s the full package he says detailing all the areas she overcompensates for.

Popcaan – Bruck It Off

Like flipping through his little black book of lustful encounters, Poppy imageries yet another of his sexcapades. This one is as bad as they come, he just allows her to play out her explicit deeds.

Aidonia – Whisper

This one is so rude that he has to Whisper it. Aidonia landed new visuals with his raunchy Valentine’s Day release today. Produced by 4th Genna Music and Crash Dummy Records, the deejay takes us through a series of events in soft raspy tones to spur images of something you’d see in an X-rated love scene. The music video played out meeker visuals but still tantalizing on the eyes, thanks to his sexy video vixen.

Jahmiel – Love Lost

Patriotz prince, Jahmiel in his new release today has him in a bit of a somber mood. This one is a touching story where he reminisces what appears to be real events of a past relationship. Jahmiel confesses his mistakes and the mistreatment he unbridled on his former flame, which in the end led her to leave. Produced by Sponge Music, Watch the visuals here –

Nklyne – Bonnie & Klyne

Nklyne has that ‘ride or die’ kind of girl that will risk anything to stand by her man. In his track, Bonnie & Kline the deejay commends her never-failing commitment to him while the music video sees her taking a slew of bullets during a crossfire with the cops. Watch it here –

D’yani – Birthday

Quickly rising artiste D’Yani dropped his single “Birthday” to commemorate the day for love and lovers. According to D’Yani, Valentine’s Day represents a day of love and an exchange of love, a day which he believes should be celebrated.

“Most of my avid fans are women and it’s of paramount importance to me that they feel loved and cherished everyday especially on this day of romanticism. Overall, I feel the track advocates for treating our women well and no other time than Valentine’s Day,” said D’Yani.

Birthday was produced by Ward 21’s Kunley McCarthy for Downsound Records (DSR).

“Kunley has proven himself time and time again as a top class dancehall composer, so I trust his sonic judgment and once I heard the track I knew we had something special. Cecile, who is one of my musical mentors, was integral in helping me solidify the Birthday’ concept. Being a woman who is very accustomed to adulation, Cecile is definitely someone whose artistic taste I trust whole-heartedly. It was an absolute pleasure working with them both,” D’Yani shared.

An advocate for love, D’Yani is one that observes the significance of Valentine’s Day.

“Any day that brings joy and appreciation to women, is a day that I have to celebrate. Though I am a little weary of the commercialized romanticism that comes with the day, I do see the reason it is so widely celebrated. My brand as an artist not only represents soulful music, but ultimately I’m an advocate of love,” he said.
