Konshens has a message for Perth, and it reads a lot like an apology. “Nuff love ❤️ Perth let’s make this right,” the dancehall star wrote on Instagram, adding “See you next Saturday 🙏🏾” above a run of Australian dates.

The schedule is tight. Brisbane is up first on October 15, then Sydney on October 16, Perth on October 17 and Melbourne on October 18. That’s four cities on four consecutive nights, with a cross-country trip to the west coast in the middle.

The post doesn’t say what went wrong. Konshens didn’t explain what needs “making right,” and he didn’t say whether these dates replace earlier shows or follow something that fell through.

For anyone in Perth who had plans around his last visit or a missed show, the wording at least sounds like he knows they’re owed one.

There’s another way to read it, too. He named only Perth in a post that lists all four stops, which suggests that’s where the frustration was sharpest.

Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne get their dates without the extra note, and it’s not clear from the post whether those cities were affected in the same way.

The “next Saturday” line adds a wrinkle. The post puts Perth on October 17 but doesn’t give a year, so fans will want to check the date against their tickets and the official listings before they lock anything in. With a short gap between the post and the show, Perth crowds don’t have much time to plan.

For Konshens, the stakes go beyond one city. He’s one of the Jamaican dancehall acts whose reach extends well past the Caribbean, built on club staples like “Bruk Off Yuh Back” and “Gal a Bubble.”

Australia is a long trip for any Jamaican artist, so getting a four-city run right matters both to the fans who turn up and to his standing in a market he’s clearly trying to keep.

The tone of the post fits how he usually talks to his audience. It’s short and direct, with a prayer-hands emoji where a formal statement might have used an apology and a press release.

Some fans will take that as sincere. Others in Perth may want more explanation before they let it go.

For now, the artist’s own post is the only official word. Venues, support acts and ticket links aren’t in the announcement, so expect more details to come out before Brisbane on October 15.
