Skillibeng, Shenseea And Popcaan Give High-Energy Performances At Wireless Festival 2022

The Wireless Festival 2022 Dancehall acts Skillibeng, Shenseea, and Popcaan delivered their highly anticipated performances at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) venue in Birmingham on Friday, 8 July.

In what is the final leg of a two-weekend long festival, the three Dancehall artists took to the stage with others on the Friday night lineup including WizKid, Dave, Summer Walker, Little Simz, BLXST, Babyface Ray, Fireboy DML, Unknown T, and DC.

The Mr. Universe star ignited his U.K. fans yet again with his electrifying Whap Whap, and later performed others like Crocodile Teeth, Bad Man, Hot plus more. The Jamaican artist hit the stage twice – first as a solo act and again with Nigerian singer WizKid. The two were also spotted partying at a Wireless Fest after-party following their performances later that night.

Shenseea

Not to be outdone, Shenseea graced the stage in her usual high-fashion style wearing a Shenyeng Dragon logo-inspired outfit, and kicked off her performance with her Gold-certified single Blessed, to send the crowd into an excited frenzy. While performing, the fans sang along with her other hit tracks including this sizzling set during Good Comfort (see below).

Popcaan

The 876Gud took the stage to a highly welcoming crowd where he gave an energetic performance laying down tracks like his Clarks collab with Vybz Kartel and My Chargie featuring Drake plus other fan-favorites.

The Wireless Festival, a rap and urban music festival that takes place every year in London, England, commenced this summer on the weekend of July 1-3 and will end on Sunday 10 July. The concert returned to three locations in England this year at Finsbury Park and Crystal Palace in London and the NEC in Birmingham.

So far huge stars such as Chris Brown, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, A$AP Rocky, and SZA have all hit the stage. Tonight fans will get to see others like Central Cee, City Girls, Lil Baby, Lil TJay, Mahalia, and others. Closing day, on Sunday, will see D-Block Europe, Digga D, Jack Harlow, MoneyBagg Yo, Polo G, Roddy Ricch, French The Kid and more.
