After a brief hiatus on social media, Shenseea resurfaced with sizzling new swimsuit photos and a new title.

With the view of a city as her backdrop, the 25-year-old served up some seductive poses wearing a blue and yellow striped crochet string bikini that showed off her new and very curvaceous physique.

“Sorry I haven’t been posting. I just been working my fxcking ass off!” the Blessed singer captioned the scroll-stopping Instagram post on Tuesday (May 31).  Over on Twitter, she captioned the photos, “Queen of Jamaica!” which prompted fans and non-fans of the Dancehall star to go head to head over the title.

“That’s right Shenseea baby, the Queen Love you,” said one Shenyeng fan.

Several others agreed: “Indeed Indeed Indeed You Got That O.M.G. Summer Look A Baby Baby Baby Wow,” and “Ik Dass Right,” while another had an even fitting title, “Actually u the goddess of Jamaica.”

“Pretty in the face skin and can rap, dj and sing nobody is doing it like you in Jamaica mama’s,” added another.

Some believed she could fit the bill for a ‘Beauty Queen’.

“This woman is one of the most beautiful women alive,” said one person. Others added, “You fine as wine baby” and “Isn’t she a beauty.”

Meanwhile, others thought the Queen title was a stretch.

“Sorry to pop your bubble we all know who the real Queen of Jamaica is and that’s Spice,” one responded.

Nah that’s @LisaHannamp for former beauty Queen & @spiceofficial as the reigning Dancehall Queen. Your turn may never come because both you and Spice are millennials. Leave that for the next generation, Koffee and JadaKingdom,” another wrote.

Prince Ty agreed, “The queen of what? I doubt it, Spice the queen”

“Pause. Breaks. You too quick wid it mama. Can’t be claiming dancehall and barely making Jamaican music,” one Twitter added.

Shenseea has said that she’s not interested in titles and crowns, in light of suggestions that she could be “ready” to take Spice’s Queen of Dancehall throne.

“I’m honored that they (the fans) see me as such (the next dancehall queen) but it wasn’t a title I’ve always wanted. I want to do music and enjoy it for the fun not because it is expected of me to do so,” she had told the Jamaica Star in January last year.

Earlier this year, she added that she had much bigger dreams.
