Marion Hall Encourages Jada Kingdom To ‘Leave A Good Legacy; Not One Like Lady Saw’

A week after Jada Kingdom challenged Minister Marion Hall to a fight for referring to her, among other things, as ‘weak’ and as competing with Spice and others in a desperate “race to hell” during her controversial sermon, the Sycamore Tree artist has replied with some motherly advice.

Hall geared down for another fiery sermon on Sunday, to address the litany of tweets the Heavy! singer had made last week Monday, disparaging her legacy and accusing her of being a hypocrite.

“I am going to address something: little baby Jada.  I am so sorry if I offended you,” Minister Hall said in a cooing voice.

“You talented, yeah?  You just need to put some aggression into it,” she advised.

Seemingly amused, Hall made it clear that she was not upset by the utterances made by the 23-year-old, whose age she more than doubled, nor did she take the duel to which she had challenged her seriously.

“So when you coming at me like that baby girl, I am no longer that girl, but if I was, I would just say: ‘Jada! Jada!  Get back to your room!  You’re grounded!  I love you baby girl,” she chuckled.  “Good morning God bless you.”

“I just wanted to encourage you, so that when you leave, you have a legacy; a good one – not the one like Lady Saw.  Just do some tings and talk some truths.  Alright?  Just sayin, just sayin,” she added.

Last week Monday, Jada had ranted in a series of tweets attacking the former Queen Of Dancehall.

“Jus mek wi fight & si how weak mi really be, caz Spice and di ressa dem a ramp wid yuh!” Jada had stated.  “I was gonna chill, but f–k dat caz if a mi did seh sumn bout you, yuh done mi long f–in time! Mi wake up wid likkle sense today….  You was one of the most slackest artiste on the land, now yuh claim seh yu change, mek yuh nuh jus guh one side and gwan bout yuh ways. You had your time! Memba? And you fell off years ago! Guh sidung nuh! A wah? Yuh miss not trending?”

Jada had also declared that the Room In My House singer had not changed from her sinful ways, even though she had been baptized. “All di ppl dem inna ur church fool…dem nuh si seh yuh cya fix? Yuh nave nuh change a change… couldn’t trick me, I wasn’t convinced!”

“Yuh decide fi guh turn “minister” right? caz yuh couldn’t bare not having the “QUEEN OF DANCEHALL” title anymore suh yuh run guh find a new head title inna church. tink yuh slick?” she had said as she continued her attack.

The Banana singer had, like Spice and Macka Diamond had done, claimed that Hall wanted to return to Dancehall and was using controversy to weave her way back in.

“What’s next? “QUEEN OF GOSPEL”? mhm… Mek mi ask yuh sumn lady bittaz. since church too boring & yuh miss controversy come yah suh deh!”… “Yuh jus a look a gateway fi come back inna di industry but fi duh wah tho? Clash? LOL … with WHO!!??

“Brite & renk nuh bbc! leggo mi name!” … “Jus walk di adda way yer!? doh mention mi name again outta slack mouth,” she had added.

Jada’s comments had upset selector/producer Foota Hype, who took to his Instagram live feed the following day, to reprimand her for “sizing up” with Lady Saw.

“Jada Kingdon.  Mi si some likkle ting a guh round weh yuh a seh Mumma Saw a try find a way fi come back inna Dancehall, an shi ‘fell off’, an like shi naw happen agen. Meck mi correct yuh Mumma Saw neva fell off; Mumma Saw walked off.  Walking away and falling off is two different tings,” Foota had rebuked.

“Yes, yuh talented; yes yuh look good, but calm the f_ck down.  Relax yuhself.  Don’t get bright!  Undastan yuhself…  Lady Saw walked away when shi deh a di top a di game.  And since shi leave probably about 10 year now or suh, nobaddy has surpassed what Lady Saw has done.  You or Spice or any odda female, no Shenseea nobaddy, has done what Lady Saw has done.  Lady Saw sell millions of records while it wasn’t streaming; while there wasn’t views.  Undastan weh yuh a seh.  Have mannaz!” he added.

As the displeased Foota continued his monologue, he said that none of the women in Dancehall had reached Saw’s level, even though she had retired from secular Dancehall for several years now.

“Lady Saw have song weh collect Grammy, weh oonu a fight fi si Grammy. Oonu a fight fi nomination.  Lady Saw get dat already… Don’t eva use di word ‘fell off’. Yuh rude. Yuh brite, Yuh feisty. Outta orda.  Presumptuous. Rude.  Bright bad,” Foota said.
