Reggae deejay Kabaka Pyramid recently debuted his latest track titled “Greatness”, produced by Deejay Theory, which landed at number four on the Global iTunes Reggae Charts last week.

The track’s release comes courtesy of the independently owned label Original Ting via prominent streaming platforms, iTunes, Pandora, YouTube, Apple Music, Deezer, Audiomack, and Spotify.

“Greatness” is the first single from the debut solo album Everything Is Energy, set for release in early 2022, from the San Francisco based producer and will feature more “exciting voices in reggae and dancehall.”

“I sent Kabaka the demo with notes pertaining to ‘excellence’ – embodying how it feels to be a champion. Being the flawless lyricist and songwriter he is, he delivered a knockout lyrical performance for what now has become “Greatness” – a testament to hard work, perseverance, motivation, and striving for excellence in all areas of life.” Deejay Theory told DancehallMag.

‘The Lyrical Deity’ is heard spitting “mi haffi get the paper, but it mi nah go stray for, no time no day…”

As the high energy, hard-hitting contemporary reggae fused, hip hop beat progresses, the Kontraband singer deejays, “all of my gangsters and all of my thugs, all of my warriors weh up inna the club, proud to be black, put yuh fist inna di air, everywhere mi look is another millionaire”.
