Dancehall deejay Jahvillani today revealed the upcoming release of his debut album Dirt to Bentley.

The 13-track project will be released July 9, 2021 and is a “triumphant expression of Jamaica’s youth-driven Dancehall”, according to a release from label VP Records.

The title track Dirt to Bentley features vocals of New York-based Dancehall star Kranium and the two tell the story about their rise from humble beginnings (‘dirt’) to their successes (‘Bentley’).

Jahvillani‘s June 2020 team-up with Trinibad deejay Prince Swanny, titled First Class Flight, and Smooth with Dancehall hot-topic Skillibeng will both appear on the album.

Another single, Pro-Gress, will be released June 25, 2021, according to the release. “Over a repeated string chord “Pro-Gress” aptly illustrates the strides the artist has taken throughout his life.”

“Dirt to Bentley was recorded in Jamaica with production from Tevin “YGF” Richards (for YGF Records), Adrian “Mastermind” Martin Lawrence, Ridwaan Razak and Jahvillani.”

Other songs on the project include Love At First Sight, Powerful (Brand New), Dat Way, Broken, GOD.ly, Scheme, Journey, and Jahvi 3:16.
