Doja Cat is opening her North American shows with “Cards,” performed from center stage. That’s how the Tour Ma Vie World Tour landed stateside this past weekend, with back to back stops in Detroit, Chicago and Minneapolis.
The sets ran close to two hours and leaned hard on theatrical production and tight choreography. It’s the kind of staging fans have come to expect from an artist who treats every era like a full visual reinvention.
Vie, her latest album, got plenty of room in the setlist. Acts Of Service,” “Gorgeous” and “Jealous Type” all made the cut, giving crowds their first live taste of the new material on home turf.
She didn’t forget the songs that made her a household name, though. “Say So,” the TikTok smash from Hot Pink, sat alongside “Paint the Town Red” and “Agora Hills” from 2023’s Scarlet.
That mix says a lot about where she is right now, confident enough to push fresh music without ditching the hits.
Then there’s Latto, who is supporting every North American date. The Grammy nominated rapper and singer opened with “Chrome Heart Diaper Bag,” worked through fan favorites “Hostage” and “Georgia Peach,” and closed on “Big Mama.
The pairing makes sense on paper. Both artists move comfortably between rap and pop, and Latto’s set gives the night a harder edge before Doja’s production takes over.
What’s easy to miss is how long this tour has already been running. Doja Cat launched Tour Ma Vie last fall in Auckland, then worked through Australia, the Philippines, South Korea and other markets.
The 2026 dates picked up on February 5 at Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo, Brazil. From there she hit Mexico City, Dublin, London, Paris and more, so North America is getting a show that has already spent months on the road across several continents.

For fans in the States, that’s arguably good news. A production that has been refined night after night in multiple countries tends to arrive sharper than one making its debut.
The next stop is October 6 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. After that, the run heads west through Denver, Seattle, San Francisco and Las Vegas, with more cities filling out the calendar.
It all builds toward December 1, when the tour wraps at Madison Square Garden in New York City. There’s still a long stretch of highway between Kansas City and that final night at the Garden.
