For more than a decade, singer Little Kirk was a member of Patrick Roberts’ Shocking Vibes label, which managed acts including Beenie Man, Snagga Puss, and Tanto Metro and Devonte.

Now, he is making a serious comeback with a pair of collaborations with nineties veteran Little Lenny, one of which is called Same Wine which is produced by Lorna from England on the Miles Ahead Label, and another dubbed Addiction produced by Mr. G.

Little Kirk is aiming to complete an album this year.

“I am currently finishing up my album Can’t Hold I Down which is produced by me and my little brother Sheldon James on the Triple Bro Records label,” Little Kirk said.

He is also dabbling in the world of production.

“Lots of music making right now because I’m even recording a song with my son Rusheen Davis. My next collaboration is with Lee Major X out of New York with “Ghetto Paradise “, and addresses the killings in Jamaica. Sometimes is just a conscious vibration, maybe people don’t want to hear it,  but the message of peace has to get out,” he said.

Although he is Christian, Little Kirk does not limit himself to gospel music. He can still belt out those ballads as he is getting a lot of love across the Atlantic with  a lovers rock song called You Are The Reason which is generating major spins among ethnic radio stations in the UK. He plans to capitalize on the buzz.

“We always working. Right now I have several bookings in London, New York, Orlando and the Caribbean but everybody watching this pandemic to see what’s the next move. So if you don’t hear from Little Kirk, trust me he is still alive and making music”.

Born and raised in Waterhouse, Little Kirk (given name Kirk Davis) entered a community talent contest in 1981 and won. He was subsequently invited by Patrick Roberts to join his Shocking Vibes label. Throughout his career, he released several albums including Ease The Pain, I’m Ready, and Ghetto People Broke.

Little Kirk is known for recording a number of covers, including Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror and I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love (Crystal Gayle).

In 2008, the singer severed ties with Shocking Vibes and turned a new leaf when he became a Christian.
