Veteran Dancehall artist Bounty Killer through the Bounty Foundation is continuing his charitable work to help those in need as the pandemic wages on.

The foundation which is led by both Bounty Killer and his manager Paul Giscombe has donated 40 tablets to the Seaview Gardens Primary School as they continue to do what they can to help those more impacted by the changes caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This falls in line with his initiative entitled ‘Each one, Teach one’.

While making the donation the Warlord shared his upbringing and how close he feels to the community.

“I was raised half of my life in Seaview Gardens and I was here from this school was made… I have close relationships with my community. When it comes to giving back and charity, my community is always a first priority,” he said.

His donation was met with elation from the Vice-Principal of the school, Keisha Heslop-Pessoa, who said that she was grateful for the donations because it will help a lot of students when it comes to online learning.

“We have about 60 per cent of students that are online because what we hear now from students is that we don’t have a device or we don’t have any data. So that is one of the problems. So now, since there are no face-to-face classes and it is purely online, we have to be reaching out to students,” she added.

The Fed Up singer took the opportunity to call on other persons to join his efforts to help those most in need at this time and even after the pandemic. He especially called on those who have left impoverished communities and are doing well to lend a helping hand. He also appealed to those who may have migrated and can afford to help.
