Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall sensation Koffee is now one of Calvin Klein’s latest underwear models.

Putting her taut abs and fit body on display in the brand’s new underwear pieces, the Grammy Award-winner was greeted by a hail of fire emojis in her Instagram reveal today.  “Spring 2021 @calvinklein campaign. #MYCALVINS,” she captioned the post.

Koffee joins rapper Megan Thee Stallion, actor Jacob Elordi, singer Rina Sawayama, actor Anthony Ramos and more in the brand’s Spring 2021 ad campaign, titled Blank Canvas, which debuted today.

CK’s spring 2021 collection focuses on foundational styles. For underwear, there’s Air Fx Tech which they say has breathable support.

In jeans and denim, the gender-neutral pieces include trucker jackets and cotton rib tanks which were also modeled by Koffee for the American fashion house.

For the campaign, Calvin Klein has recruited Italian-American photographer Mario Sorrenti, known for his spreads in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Director Terence Nance also created a short film titled The Feeling of Letting Go that featured shots of Koffee and the rest of the cast of the campaign.

Nance also cut a 26-second spot featuring Koffee that was captioned, “What are we afraid of? Singer. DJ. Koffee knows where fear is.”

“When gyal good dem great,” commented singer Naomi Cowan on Koffee’s IG post, while producer teflonzincfence said, “Dem dead inna them sleep”

“I was never ready for this heat 🔥,” said one fan, while another added, “Its gonna take me some time to get use to this. Never seen you dressed like this before.”

The campaign will appear on the fashion house’s social media platforms.

In December, the W singer was recruited by H&M for their Holiday Ad campaign.  Malta Jamaica was also attracted to Koffee’s marketability in October, as was MasterCard, who made her their brand ambassador in Jamaica in September.  In June, she performed her then-unreleased single Pressure for New York-based fashion designer Thom Browne on the Highsnobiety’s “Not in Paris” online exhibition.

Koffee, whose real name is Mikayla Simpson, just celebrated her 21st birthday last month.  While the Spanish Town native is sitting out this year’s Grammy Awards, she did pick up two nominations for Outstanding International Song at the NAACP Image Awards for her summer 2020 hit Lockdown and the Pressure (remix) with Buju Banton.

A follow-up to her Grammy-winning album, Rapture, is expected this year.  She told RollingStone two weeks ago, that the upcoming LP will focus on the idea of unity and positivity with ‘a very interesting twist’.

“I want to speak of a solution and of a way that we can come together and get along, even when things are going wrong,” Koffee said. “Positivity is definitely a theme. It will be a very interesting twist for people who knew my music before, and also for people who will discover me. I think it will be really awesome.”
