The young woman at the centre of a controversial screenshot of a direct message exchange between herself and the handlers of Koffee’s Instagram page, which blew up after being reposted by Foota Hype, says she has apologized to the superstar.

The youngster who uses the Twitter handle, zhavialee, posted shortly after 1:00 this morning that she was mortified that the post which shows Koffee responding to her message, which she said she re-shared in her excitement at being acknowledged by the Grammy award-winner, was taken by some to mean that they were somehow intimately involved.

“Woke up from good nap to see this… this is the most sad, disturbing thing I’ve ever seen. and the fact that y’all saying I’m doing this shit for clout…that’s the last thing I wanna achieve in life, I don’t wanna be know & I don’t like to be seen!!” she posted on Twitter.

“As I said before I’m Koffee’s #1 fan I was caught in the moment… I did apologize to her and like I said y’all are making it a big deal!  She has a pure heart with pure intentions and so do I,” she added.

Meanwhile, over the last few days, Foota Hype’s followers and fellow artistes have lambasted him for his ‘constant bullying’ of Koffee about her deportment and implications that she was involved in same-sex relationships.

The onslaught on Foota came after he made several anti-Koffee Instagram posts, among them the direct message with ‘zhavialee,’ her response to a post made by television host Ashley, as well as her cover of Fetty Wap’s No Days Off in July.

International producer and artiste Serani did not mince words as he upbraided Foota for using his Instagram platform to continually harass the 20-year-old.

“Dawg! This is big big f__kry! F__ck do you dawg? Everybody inna Jamaica love har except you. Lowe d girl!” Serani said.

In response, Foota said he had no hatred for Koffee, but insisted that he dislikes her ‘masculine’ mode of dress.

“I don’t hate her.   I hate the image she is projecting and remember this I am a leader not a follower I don’t have to say what u or anybody else is saying.   I have my own views and opinion like everybody else and she is a public figure and so am I so I can speak about her if I choose to.  She a push a lesbian image and me and nuff other ppl nuh like it and mi done chat,” he told Serani.

Unmoved, Serani insisted that based on his actions and words, Foota’s hatred was evident.

“Look how much ting a gwaan inna d world and you spend so much time a worry bout wah Koffee doing? You know how bad look pan you? I just don’t like hate in any form and all i see from you right now and every time you a trouble d girl is hate…She has the hottest song inna d country now! Talk bout dat! Smh,” he said.

Serani then added: “Mi know you for almost 20 years now. You never used to stay suh! Mi know you guh tru nuff inna u life and mi feel your pain as a brother but u cyaa mek it turn u into dis brov! Lowe d girl!” the No Games singer said.

Last weekend, Downsound music producer Cordell’ Skatta’ Burrell, also reprimanded Foota during an hour-long IG Live discussion, after the selector sought to justify to him, why he was constantly clamoring for Koffee to dispense with her ‘masculine’ dressing.

Skatta told Foota he was guilty of ‘taking set’ on young artistes, as he had also made similar offensive remarks about Intence, Alkaline, and Masicka.

Labeling him ‘dancehall police’, Skatta also scolded Foota for posting a music video of a dreadlocked Montego Bay-based female artiste disparagingly questioning Koffee’s sexuality.

“Dah song deh a f__kery deh bredda.  Dat song is f__kery,” Skatta said. “I don’t see her dressing as offensive.  Tell me how that offensive,” he added at one point.

Also annoyed was singjay Ce’Cile, who blasted Foota for his continuous attacks on Koffee.

“U do know a lot of kids would not see this until u posted it… look how much man a beat woman where is your voice…koffee business a badda nobody??? Wether me agree with her or not why??? Can u help me get the sex offender registered Footah…please need help with that,” Ce’cile said sarcastically.

Jamaican actress and writer @zandramah was also making the rounds on Instagram today for her sizzling rebuke of Hype.   Zandramah says she seeks to “to defend Grammy Award youngster Koffee for the history of backlash she receives by her own Jamaican people whose continued ignorance and aggressive culture forces them to attack the LGBT Community. She appeals to them in a raw Jamaican way at the level where members of the Caribbean diaspora will comprehend. She hopes that this artistic effort will take them to a new place of growth as a nation.”

The video eventually found its way to Foota, who chose to lash out at dancehall singer Konshens for enjoying the trashing.
