‘Me nave no personal girl, Me just a live free inna di world,’ dancehall artiste Squash croons in his new single Naturally, which arrived on streaming services yesterday (May 4).

The J1 / Toppa Don Records-produced tune paints the picture of Squash’s natural abilities with the ladies. Though very light on lyrics and runtime, Naturally is one catchy ‘gyallis’ anthem. The track has received just under 50,000 views in a very busy release window with hot tracks out this week from Govana, Dexta Daps, Rygin King, Masicka and Vybz Kartel.

“Squash is a hittt factory. Bro got all the international melodies,” said one fan on YouTube. With the new single, the 6ix boss is looking to keep his factory going into the second half of the year after he dropped a collab titled Public Figure with rising star Daddy1 last week. In March, the deejay released videos for Let It Go, Cold Blood and audio for Loyalty.

The 28-year-old, whose real name is Andrae Whittaker, will drop his debut album on June 6. The 14 track album, which he’s calling ‘Mr. Whittaker‘ will feature 6ix affiliates Daddy1 and Chronic Law. Squash told the Jamaica Star in February that he would be making sure the album is up to Grammy standards.

“That’s the whole aim of the album. We have diligently worked on this project for it to be up to Grammy standards”, he said. “We intend to submit this album and continue waving the flag of our culture and music. Dancehall or reggae, whichever they want to deem it, it represent Jamaica, it represent 6ix.”
