Watch Squash’s New Video For ‘Cold Blood’

Dancehall artiste Squash has released the official music video for his single ‘Cold Blood’. The track was released back in January, receiving over 350,000 streams on the 6ixx boss’ VEVO page.

Cold Blood, released yesterday, opens with a disclaimer about the props (guns) used in the video before diving into Squash’s rapid-fire lyrics. Everyone, from the bad ladies to members of the 6ixx crew are strapped and ready to commit cold-blooded murder on any enemies who dare to disrespect.

“Wah mi do mi, slap one inna dem face // Mi nuh like talk and mi nuh waste grains,” he sings in the chorus of this three-minute war tune.

The clean visuals, which were produced by ‘The Wikid’, received mixed reactions from Squash fans. One jokingly noted, “The amount a time the camera man get shot.”

Others expressed their boredom with gun chunes and videos. “I’m real tired of these killing videos, a swear..,” said one fan. Another added, “How much youngsters listen to squash? Change up the thing now squash a never Dem song yah buss yo. Shabdon yo must be a madman producer to a release these song in the street. We tired a it yah now.”

Squash has raked in much success with hits like Trending, Beat Dem Bad featuring Vybz Kartel and recently Scotch & Soda. The fast rising dancehall entertainer has his sights set on winning a Grammy award with his upcoming album which is titled Mr. Whittaker.

“That’s the whole aim of the album. We have diligently worked on this project for it to be up to Grammy standards”, he said in a recent interview. Though some fans were less than positive he will be able to achieve that goal.
