Masicka Drops New Single ‘Chance’ With Accompanying Video: Watch

In keeping with the theme of positivity in his music this month, Masicka has released yet another uplifting track, Chance with an accompanying music video.

“All we need is just a chance to show them what we can do”, the dancehall artist sings on the chorus, as he details the struggles of those living in the inner cities, and what the positive changes they could make when given the right opportunity.

“Yea di soldier might a stumble but we never die/Man a king ina di jungle, hold me head up high/Weh mi daddy gone? Watch mi mada cry”, he sings, with a soothing melody complements the overall message of the song

The song was produced By Genahsyde/1syde Records and follows another equaling uplifting release by Masicka titled Better Days, which was released on May 1.

The video for “Chance” depicts the journey on a trying youth living in an inner-city community. Despite the various negative influences around him, he does what he can to stay on the right path- getting his resume printed, getting a ride to a job interview and eventually, getting the job he wanted.

The video has gained over 70,000 views since being released this morning and resonated with dancehall fans for its message. “I LITERALLY felt every words in this song… love it Masicka…. hope every inner city youth pick right and get a buss in a good way… Remember anything you live by you die by.
