Leave it to the 6ix crew to combine their forces for an orchestrated blood bath of dancehall tunes.

This latest exhibition helixes 1 riddim and 13 deejays fearlessly dishing out the wickedest rhymes you can think of. The riddim – 1Law was produced by One Law Entertainment and the tracks distributed by 21st Hapilos.  It was released on April 13th featuring a handful of the 6ixes, gradually toting on others including a Gaza member.

Currently the riddim playgrounds the official audio of following dancehall acts:

  1. Chronic Law – Pree
  2. Squash – Dem Fraid A Me
  3. Daddy1 – Brand New Arcus
  4. Shawn Storm – Chargie
  5. Rebel Sixx – Me Will Dweet
  6. ShaqStar – Chip
  7. Zizi – Target
  8. Big Voice – Naa Dead Suh
  9. I Voltage – 1Law
  10. Lexie Thickness – Anything
  11. Mad Daag6 – Dirt
  12. Bully Frass – Death Medicine
  13. Fright Jet – Skills

Chronic Law

Released on April 14th, Chronic Law’s single Pree is leading in streams, however the deejay’s fans have been eagerly waiting in anticipation for a counteraction to Jahmiel‘s supposed diss towards him. This was made in the MVP’s newly debuted single Dead Xample.

Pree is an easy reaction, if you will, from the Law Boss. Like a gangster, he deejays that his badness is never ending, leaving duppies in his trail is no new feat and not even the ‘virus’ (presumably COVID-19) can keep him in, so if one wants to instigate a war – bring it on.

Squash

The unmistakable 6ix boss, Squash drops his signature hip hop inspired swag on the 1Law riddim to release an easy rhythmic sound. His single Dem Fraid A Me, promises drawing blood but less by his effort and more so of his hit men. “From bwoy fi dead yuh know di money transfer” he sings.

Unlike the other singles on the riddim, Squash confidently flosses the addition of some very rich rhymes. He sings about his millions and being bored with his Benz so he buys a bigger one and passes down the other to his friends, 95 mil for his residence, he’s got Rolexes, chics and clips and list goes on.

Daddy1

Daddy1

Well we all know Daddy1 is a poetic killer from his introduction on the dancehall scene. The young deejay, with his single Brand New Arcus, seems to have formulated his rhymes in the middle of a homicidal act. Imagine the scenario he describes, “gyal a run in a dutty water, man a slide, mi killa dem still a seek anyweh yuh hide, Browning mash up face pon floor tile…” it just makes you want to dial 119. An incessant rant follows with cleverly intricate details of crimes in all hues of blood and gore. No one does dark like Daddy1 in this line up.

Shawn Storm

Popularly known as the Gaza Zombie, is the ultimate modern day gunslinger in his track Chargie. It doesn’t really take much for him to use his Kel-Tec; bulletproof vests aren’t in any way a deterrent either, he aims straight for the head. The track is spiked with salutes to the Gaza Empire and the pioneer, “dem nuh bad, dem bwoy deh nuh bad like Addi”, he choruses.

The track is one of the better performing features on the riddim as reflected in the current number of view counts on VEVO and YouTube.

Rebel, ShagStar and ZiZi follow with similar ratings. Big Voice and I Voltage parallels in streams, then Lexie Thickness, Mad Daag6, Bully Frass falls behind with Fighta Jet coming in under 300 streams.
