Half of everything. That’s what A$AP Rocky would reportedly have to give up if he ever cheated on Rihanna, according to a claim now making the rounds about the couple and their long running marriage question.
The story goes that one major sticking point stands between the two and a wedding. It’s an infidelity clause in a prenup that would require Rocky to hand over 50 percent of his assets if he’s unfaithful, and Rihanna’s position, as it’s being shared, is that the clause isn’t about control but about accountability.
Before anyone starts picking out wedding playlists, a little caution helps. The material circulating doesn’t point to a specific interview, outlet or date, and neither Rihanna nor Rocky has publicly expanded on it.
What nobody doubts is how deep this relationship goes. The pair were friends and collaborators for years before going public as a couple, and Rocky told GQ in 2021 that Rihanna was “the love of my life.”
They’ve built a family quickly since then. Their son RZA was born in May 2022 and Riot Rose followed in August 2023. Rihanna revealed a third pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala before welcoming daughter Rocki Irish that September.

Rihanna has also stood by Rocky through a rough stretch. In February 2025, a Los Angeles jury acquitted him of assault charges tied to a 2021 shooting involving former A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli, and she was in the courtroom when the verdict came down.
That history is part of why this prenup talk lands the way it does. The question being put to fans is blunt: is the request fair, or is it too extreme?
One side of the debate is easy to sketch. A clause like this simply puts a number on a promise most couples make anyway, and if nobody plans on cheating, nobody loses anything. Rihanna’s accountability framing fits that reading.
The other side has its own logic. Fifty percent is a steep penalty to write into a contract, and some will wonder why a couple with three kids and years together would need one at all.

Rihanna’s own wealth also changes the math, since Forbes named her a billionaire in 2021, largely on the strength of Fenty Beauty.
All of this unfolds while fans keep waiting on the music side of the story. The Barbadian star has flirted with dancehall throughout her catalog, from “Rude Boy” to the Drake assisted “Work” on 2016’s Anti, which is still her most recent studio album.
Rocky has kept busy on his end with acting and fashion work alongside his own long delayed album rollout. Whatever is actually happening in those marriage talks, neither of them seems in a hurry to put the details on the record.
