Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Legend has now spent 355 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart, and this week it got more company underneath it. Billboard has expanded the chart to 15 positions, effective the chart dated October 31, 2026.
The move is really a return to the original format. The first chart, dated February 5, 1994, carried 15 spots before being trimmed to 10 in 2020.
Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection holds No. 2 behind Legend. Sean Paul has a big week, with Dutty Classics Collection re-entering at No. 3 and his Grammy winning Dutty Rock staying put at No. 4.
Stick Figure takes up a chunk of the top 10 on its own. World on Fire sits at No. 5, with Wisdom and Set in Stone at No. 7 and No. 8, around UB40’s Greatest Hits at No. 6.

Sister Nancy’s One, Two inches up to No. 9, while Exodus, another Marley and the Wailers staple, slips to No. 10. That is where the old chart would have stopped.
The five new slots tell a slightly different story. Sean Kingston’s Tomorrow, which peaked at No. 9 a few weeks back, climbs to No. 11. Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley’s Welcome to Jamrock, a five week chart topper back in 2005, slips to No. 12.
The Elovaters’ Endless Summer, a former No. 3, dips to No. 13. The Best of Big Mountain slides from its No. 13 debut last week to No. 14, and Iration’s Time Bomb holds No. 15.
There are two ways to read the expansion. It gives working bands like Iration and The Elovaters a visible spot instead of disappearing below the cutoff.
The top of the chart, though, is still ruled by catalog and greatest hits packages, and Legend’s grip shows no sign of loosening.
Fresher energy is showing up elsewhere. Karol G’s BbY WOW featuring Judeline and rusowsky, which samples the Coolie Dance rhythm, slips to No. 3 on the Global 200 and No. 2 on Global 200 Excluding US.

It still spends a 10th week at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs and Hot Latin Rhythm Songs, and climbs from No. 17 to No. 11 on Rhythmic Airplay.
Regional radio is where newer dancehall and reggae is moving fastest. 1 Psalm by Masicka and Damian Marley takes over No. 1 on the Voice of the Caribbean’s Florida Reggae and Dancehall Top 20, knocking Move by Cham and Jada Kingdom to No. 2. Oh My by Buju Banton, Protoje and Cocoa Sarai opens at No. 17.
In New York, Richie Stephens holds No. 1 for a second week with The Girl in His Mind, and Sean Paul’s Stand On Business jumps from No. 11 to No. 8. Down at No. 30, Leba Hibbert, daughter of the late Toots Hibbert, debuts with Rise.
