Lil Baby didn’t drop a slick graphic or a cryptic teaser to announce his next album. He went old school with a whiteboard, scrawled 17 song titles across it, and let fans zoom in and do the detective work themselves.

The Atlanta rapper posted the carousel to Instagram on Friday, October 16, with the caption “It’s That Season.”

He followed it with “Countdown Starts Now. 20 Days,” which puts the arrival of his fifth studio album, Fresh, on November 6.

The title that jumped off the board fastest was “All My Patnas,” which features Future and Young Thug.

That trio already has a proven track record together, and fans who remember the last time they linked up have good reason to be paying attention.

That last time was “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber,” a cut from Lil Baby’s fourth album, WHAM.

The song climbed to No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, a strong showing for a deep album track with three verses competing for space.

The whiteboard holds a couple of other surprises too. In Your Head” brings in Rylo Rodriguez, while “Dead Fresh” carries a Pharrell Williams production credit, which hints that Lil Baby might be stepping outside his usual sonic lane for at least one moment on the record.

Fresh also lands on a quick turnaround. Lil Baby’s 2025 mixtape The Leaks arrived 12 months after WHAM, and Young Thug showed up on both projects, so the partnership between the two has been steady.

Future and Thug have their own long history apart from Lil Baby. They’ve traded verses on records like “Sup Mate” and “Money on Money,” and in 2017 they released a full joint album, Super Slimey, which still comes up whenever fans debate the best Atlanta collaborations of that era.

Both of them are also busy on their own. Future’s most recent solo release, The Real Me, came out in July, so “All My Patnas” will keep his name in rotation as the year winds down.

Young Thug, meanwhile, is working on the follow-up to his 2025 album UY SCUTI, and he’s been open about where it’s headed. He says the next project will lean R&B, though he isn’t planning to fill it with sad love songs.

“I ain’t making that many heartbreak songs in an R&B album ’cause we’re having fun right now,” he said on a recent episode of The Crew Has It. That makes his appearance on Fresh feel like a snapshot of Thug in rap mode before he shifts gears.

For now, the whiteboard is all anyone has to go on. Lil Baby hasn’t shared cover art, full credits, or a lead single yet, and with the countdown already running, the next reveal could come any day.
