Fergie Dads Gains Traction With “Which Girl You Want (Remix)”
Recording artiste Fergie Dads has scored immense support for his song Which Girl You Want (Remix) which he says has propelled his career.
“The support has been wonderful. I can’t complain; just giving a lot of thanks for the outcome and to all who [are] making it happen. People who know [me]say, ‘Fergieyou find it. This is the song that’s going to put me out there on top on everybody’s lips, making me a household name.’ With this song, it’s full of vibes and the lines are so catchy. It is easy to sing along to. The old and the young can relate to it. Once you hear it, you are forced to dance to it,” he said.
He has also been receiving love from disc jockeys near and far, as well as creators of mixtapes and selectors who have included it in their sets.
“I think why I’m getting all this attraction is because they never hear anything like this before. This is a totally different topic from the others. This is all about me being confused [and] don’t know which girl to choose whether the white, the black ebony girls, browning, the Chinese the Japanese the Indians; the fat, the slim, the thick, the ugly and the pretty. I love them all, while some men specialise in one of the kind,” he added.
Fergie Dads, whose given name is Ferguson hails from Shooters Hill in Bull Bay, and attended Kingston College. The deejay came to local prominence in 2016 with his first song Cyah Sit Dung So.
He is currently working on new songs and rhythms to release later this year. In the meantime, he looks forward to growing recognition for Which Girl You Want.
“My ultimate goal for my song is [that] I want it to be the number one song in Jamaica for 2026. Everywhere you go, you hear it playing on the radios and in the dances. I want it to be all over social media, in the bars, stores, in the buses and other vehicles, and in all houses and [to]be the number one on the charts with every single individual knowing it by heart,” he said.
