Several fans had expressed confusion at Bounty and the cops’ actions, but in responding to a comment, the Look Into My Eyes deejay said that they were stopped because some of the motorists in the convoy disobeyed a red light.

“Him (Vegas) over a post about me cussing a few inconsiderate cops who had interrupted a funeral convoy of cars just because a few cars went through a red light and which funeral convoy doesn’t run red lights at times instead of escort us he wants to prosecute someone about a traffic offense someone has to stand but he’s just a lonely c-cky lip b-tch 😅😅😅😅🤣” Bounty wrote.

Mr. Vegas, in his usual fashion, retorted by posting a screenshot of the comment on his Instagram page, tagging various authorities and media entities.

“Words from the —- towards to police officers (whom he confirmed were merely carrying out their duties), ‘I hope when unu get the executed nubody nuh seh nutten.’ Is this man untouchable? Is he above the law?” Vegas asked.

Angel Doolas’ 21-year-old son Noel Douglas was shot and killed shortly after New Year’s by a member of the Jamaica Defense Force (JDF).

According to the Jamaica Observer, the police reported that a man who was allegedly seen firing a weapon to ring in the new year was shot by a member of the force.

The incident took place on Penwood Road, near Waterhouse in Kingston. Two firearms were reportedly recovered from the scene.

In an interview with DancehallMag a day after the tragedy, Doolas bemoaned what he described as an attempt by the JDF to tarnish his son’s memory by planting guns at the scene of the shooting.

“The soldiers dem kill mi son, and dem plant gun on the scene of the shooting. If ah did police, dem woulda scrape him up and gwaan wid him, but because soldiers cannot take up bodies, it gave the residents time to video the body which clearly shows that my son wasn’t armed,” he said.

Doolas, whose real name is Devon Douglas, had also requested a thorough investigation into the incident.

“I have the video footage of the incident, INDECOM needs to investigate this, there were no guns on the scene. In the video, my son is gapping for air, not dead and there are no guns, but later on in another video, you can clearly see two guns,” Doolas added.

Killer also posted clips from the burial, which showed mourners looking on before the youngster’s remains were interred.

“Today wasn’t the most day pleasant but we still give god thanks we laid to rest one of my godson Noel @angeldoolasmusic youngest son 💔🕊️🙏🏾😒 Send Up Some Prayers For My Brother Folks 🙌🏾🙌🏾” he wrote.

“Give praises and glorify the most high Almighty Creator for the existence of a brother like no other @grunggaadzilla , for his efforts in being there for us the family of Noel Devonte Douglas #1n10 who was put to rest on March 5th 2023.”

He continued: “His remarkable support was full-fledged, wasn’t asked for however he gave without hesitation from the moment he got the tragic news of Noel’s passing. Blessings be upon you 4ever my brother 🙏🙌💙”
