English electronic music duo Chase & Status have shared details of their sixth studio album, What Came Before which includes a vocal contribution from Dancehall star Popcaan.

Popcaan’s feature on the 13-track collection is the yet-to-be-released single Censor with Copenhagen-based musicians IRAH. So far, the music duo has released two singles from the album, When It Rains featuring BackRoad Gee and Don’t Be Scared featuring Takura.

Following the album’s announcement this week, Chase & Status released another new single, Mixed Emotions, a euphoric EDM mix that reflects the beatmakers’ brilliant energy.

What Came Before will be released on June 10.

The Unruly Boss is a regular collaborator with UK-based musicians and producers—this latest project with Chase & Status is a mere a drop in the bucket.

Poppy, who recently signed to UK-based management company Since 93′, has teamed up with the likes of British record producers Jamie xx (I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)) and Naughty Boy (Should’ve Been Me), and British singers Aluna George (I’m In Control), Jorja Smith (Come Over), Melissa Steel (Kisses for Breakfast), Kyla (You Aint Mine), and Lily Allen (What You Waiting For).

Additionally, Popcaan has collabs with British rapper Fredo and Tory Lanez (2 Cups), Jamaican raised, British rapper Giggs (Times Tickin), British virtual rockers Gorillaz (Saturn Barz), British rapper Loski (Avengers), British rapper/ producer Hypo aka Bigg Hypes (Run These Streets), British rapper/singer J Hus (Bouff Daddy (Dre Skull Remix)) and with British rapper Mist on the remix of his single Buzz (UK Version).

Popcaan even has a collab with the iconic Chakka Khan, thanks to London beatmaker/producer TIEKS, aka Mark Tieku, on the track Say A Prayer.

Popcaan’s latest single Skeleton Cartier was produced by the London-based trio, The FaNaTiX.
