Dancehall entertainer Silk Boss and his girlfriend, now manager Brii have provided more details surrounding their leaked sex tape, the damming voice note, and their recent falling out with ex-manager and YouTuber Terro Don.

According to Silk Boss and Brii, Terro Don was the person behind leaking both pieces of content, among a long list of other shady acts. The couple dished on The Fix on Saturday, while Terro Don has already responded that two are “liars” and simply trying to get some much-needed publicity.

London Show

The conversation opened with what conspired at Silk Boss’ recent London show earlier in January with fellow artist Iwaata. Rumors emerged that the young talent’s first-ever overseas performance was a flop, he sought to clear up those speculations, stating he’s ‘never flopped, never failed.’  He added that the crowd was very receptive to his songs, especially Mankind.

According to Silk, the only flop that occurred was not being compensated for his performance. “The promoter failed though, failed fi give me my money up until today,” he said.

Silk Boss would go on to blame his then-manager Terro Don for not being paid by the promoter and what turned out to be a trip from hell. He claimed Terro did not deliver on his duties as a manager. Though he was instructed by Silk Boss to take a 50% deposit before even leaving Jamaica, he didn’t, nor did he make any arrangements for accommodation or commute to and from the various shows.

Silk Boss and Brii said they missed their flight back to Jamaica and had to purchase two airline tickets for 2000 pounds, which Silk Boss revealed was all the money he had at the time. Refusing to go back home empty-handed, he and Brii devised a plan to make some money quickly. With the help of his uncle Marvin, they reached out to a promotor in Gloucester, who agreed to compensate the Life Story singer for voicing a few dubplates.

Sex Tape Leak

Upon returning to Jamaica, Silk Boss said he attempted to go on his Instagram page and discovered that he was logged out. He immediately checked his YouTube account and that too was logged out and the password had been changed. The entertainer revealed his manager Terro Don had all his passwords and access to his social media accounts including YouTube, emails and Google Photos through which, according to him, the sex tape was recovered and subsequently leaked to the public.

“You can have a manager and ah do music and no loyalty nuh deh deh? And ah dat cause everything, him ah make it look like seh him is dis loyal person but he is not. Cause first thing, me and you a friend and me you catch up? You ah go in my Google Drive and leak the sex tape with me and mi woman? You ah go do dat?”Silk Boss said.

“The first thing weh him [Terro Don] do, you see after we come from England and we fall out, him go in a mi Instagram after him log me out an screenshot a message with me and Brii texting and post it,” he continued.

Silk Boss said Terro Don was responsible for not only leaking the sex tape but also the infamous voice note that captured a heated argument between himself and Brii, which was apparently recorded back in December during a car ride to get their vaccines.

The deejay said it was just himself, Brii and Terro in a car, and both his and Brii’s phones had died so the only other person who could have recorded their conversation was Terro. They were not aware he was capturing their argument but claimed that his actions were premeditated in an attempt to sink Silk Boss’ career.

“My phone dead and Brii phone dead and the only person weh in a di car was me, Brii and Terro …. Ah three a we alone in a di car. Cause you see the day when me and Brii catch up, we did a go take the vaccine … and if my phone dead and Brii phone dead, who video it? Who record it?”

“He been have his plan say him did ah go sink my career and a Brii him did ah go use and sink it. You see everything weh a gwaan right now is premeditated,” Silk Boss said.

The couple also addressed the alleged abuse as heard in the voice note. Brii admitted the Nah Leave artist had held tightly onto her hand and that’s why she was heard saying “Leggo off ah mi hand,” in the voice note but that’s as far as their altercation went. She said the deejay didn’t hit or hurt her though he was heard threatening to do so in the recording.

Music Releases

Silk Boss further alleged that Terro Don was on a mission to end his career by also mismanaging his music releases on YouTube, from inaptly dropping songs, including an incomplete EP to not monetizing any of his music on the platform.

The artist’s songs Mankind and Love Story have has over 6.5 and 5 million views, respectively; Geet Weh and Stay To Miself, both have over 2 million views while Trust and Nah Leave have over 1 million views.

“Mi ask Terro, mark mi words enuh, mi ask Terro, cause me see one day Brii collect 90 odd thousand off ah her YouTube for one video enuh, so mi link Terro and mi say, ‘Terro! How you tell me say YouTube don’t pay money an mi see Brii collect 90 odd thousand offa YouTube?’ … Mi say ‘Terro, YouTube pay money?’ and him say ‘No’,” the deejay said.

“Ah dem deh time deh him go tell me say last month him collect $120 US off a YouTube. So you see when Brii calculate it, Brii look pon mi and say, ‘Silk you cant deh get 1 million views and 6 million views on YouTube and Terro only collect $12,000 and some change Jamaican’.”

“So you see true him realize the girl deh round mi and di girl start show mi some things, cause me know nutt’n bout ‘Gram enuh, me nuh know nutt’n bout YouTube, me nuh know nutt’n bout di media you nuh but she [Brii] is a media person from she a go school, so a she make me start know bout YouTube now and dem ting deh and she first look pon me and say ‘Silk you a big artist, value yourself …”

Terro Don Responds

In a vlog on Sunday, March 20, Terro Don responded to several claims Silk Boss made on The Fix. He noted that he had explained to the Dancehall deejay that his music was in fact monetized but had copyright claims, which meant he only collected just a portion of the revenues.

“Yes you get pay when the ting dem is not copyright. Like vlog and dem ting deh. Or songs and video weh nuh copyright. You only get pay for when your video is monetized and people watch the ads,” Terro wrote in one of a series of messages, which he screenshot to show his audience.

In another text exchange, Terro further explained that all of the content they uploaded on Youtube had a copyright claim, whereas the content from Brii’s vlogs were not copyrighted.

Terro blamed the deejay’s misguidance on Brii, who he said didn’t know the difference between copyright and non-copyrighted content. He insisted that he always had the artist’s career in his best interest but because of ‘love’ Silk Boss is more influenced by Brii and her corrupt way of thinking.

In Terro’s response, he admited to blocking Silk Boss from YouTube and Instagram by changing the passwords. The reason he gave was that Silk Boss is immature and a very spiteful person, as such he was likely to post about a dispute they had. As for blocking him from YouTube, he feared the artist would delete videos that had already been paid for.

In regards to the leaked sex tape, the popular vlogger denied even having access to the video. He said Silk Boss had upgraded to an iPhone ever since he and Brii got together so his content would have been uploaded to iCloud. He rubbished Silk Boss’s claim that he was the one to access and leak it to the public.

Terro also said the two lied about the voice note.  According to him, Brii was in fact being beaten by Silk Boss and re-played the recording to convince his listeners. He added that they subsequently released the voice note to promote upcoming music.
