Usain Bolt Slaps Away Another Tyreek Hill Challenge

Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill isn’t backing down from his previous challenge to race sprint legend Usain Bolt.

While speaking with ESPN host, Laura Rutledge at the NHL All-Star game in Las Vegas on Saturday, Hill was put on the spot for losing the 40-yard dash to Dallas Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons at the recent NFL Pro Bowl Skills Challenge.  Hill, 27, who is known as the ‘Cheetah’ and considered one of, if not, the fastest men in the league, said losing to Parsons shouldn’t be taken too seriously because “cheetahs don’t lose to lions.”

He said his focus was still on beating the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt.  “I don’t want to show the world what I really got because I’m saving it all for Usain Bolt,’ Hill said confidently.

“So, its really like I’m baiting Usain Bolt into coming out of retirement and race me,” he continued. “That is a challenge!”

Since last July, the Wide Receiver has been baiting Bolt to a race. At the time stating that the retired sprinter was ‘old and washed up’ and had no chance beating him in 40-yard dash. It didn’t take long for Usain, 34, to counter Hill’s challenge, declaring he could easily outrun him wearing sweats and street shoes. The Jamaican track and field star even went a step further and agreed to a race with Hill if he was willing to give up his Super Bowl ringwhen’ he loses.

Things may have quiet down since then, but Hill is back and bragging and Usain Bolt still isn’t having any of it.

The three-time Olympic 100-meter champion responded this time by tweeting a screenshot of Hill sadly coming in the last place of the 40-yard dash against Parsons, and Cleveland Browns’ running back Nick Chubb, and Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs.

Adding insult to injury, Bolt drew an ‘X’ over Hill’s head and wrote in the caption, “You mean this guy?”

In Hill’s defense, he did come off to a slow start and stumbled halfway through the race.

Sports fans were convinced Dallas Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons had no chance against the Kansas City Chiefs ‘Cheetah’ in the Pro Bowl’s Fastest Man race, some even wondered why he was a part of the competition.

When asked about beating Hill, the linebacker told ESPN’s Lisa Salters, “I know he didn’t come out to give his best. He just played a couple of days ago. He’s the fastest man in the league. I just happen to be somewhere in the middle. I do want a Madden 95 speed, though.”

Stumble and fumble aside, many who watched the Pro Bowl Fastest Man competition all agreed, Tyreek Hill is still no match for Usain Bolt.

In the meantime, Usain Bolt is busying and winning with other ventures. The retired sprinter-turn-music producer, after just months of releasing his debut album Country Yutes is on to his second music project.

Though there aren’t many details about the upcoming album just yet, Bolt expects better results than with his previous collection. Released in September, the 14-track Country Yutes album debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

Bolt also released some new music with Dancehall artist Busy Signal last week Thursday. Dubbed, World’s My Playground, the song was produced by his A-Team Lifestyle record company.
