Shenseea, Rvssian Team Up On ‘You’re The One I Love’: Watch

Dancehall star Shenseea and producer Rvssian of Rich Immigrants have reconnected yet again for the single, You’re The One I Love.

The new production debuted today just in time for the holidays with a pretty enchanting music video directed by Xtreme Arts. Rvssian makes an appearance, providing assisted acoustics on piano, while Shenseea tunes her perfectly pitched melodies to express an all-consuming love for her special person.

“There’s a fire burnin’ bright, even in the darkest night, you are the one I love, you are the one I love, me a stay right by your side, not a thing can change my mind, you are the one I love…” she serenades in lyrics on a vibrant afro-Caribbean sounding rhythm.

The always-stunning Shenyeng princess emerges in visuals reminiscent of a tropical utopia. The first of five scenes captures her floating among colorful flowers in a turquoise lagoon dotted with seashells, before she’s out by the seashore relishing in the tides. In other takes, she’s set in a mythical wonderland and then laying down some choreographed dance moves with her girls, while the finale finds her getting affectionate with her love interest – whose face she chose to keep a mystery.

As the Blessed singer continues to roll out new music, she has been consistent in upping the ante. You’re The One I Love follows on the heels of her widely successful singles Run Run (6.7 million views) and Be Good (3.9 million views) that are both expected to appear on her long-awaited debut album.

In the meantime, fans can check out more recent music from Shenseea on her standout cuts, Pure Souls featuring Roddy Rich and Ok Ok Part 2 on Kanye West’s latest LP DONDA. She also collaborated with Canadian rapper Belly on the track How I’m Feelin’ and appeared on EA Sports’ Madden NFL 22 soundtrack. Shenseea, who is a Carib Beer ambassador, teamed up with the brand last October for the single Can You Feel It featuring Kerwin Du Bois with a cameo from Dj Khaled for their rebranding initiative and 70 year anniversary.

She recently won a MOBO award for the Best Reggae Act and deemed the first female to do so in the category. Fans can also stay tuned for her Album of the Year Grammy nomination.

While signed to Rvssian’s Rich Immigrants and Interscope Records, Shenseea and Rvssian have appeared together on other singles, namely IDKW with Swae Lee and Hard Drive that features Konshens.
