In grandiose fashion this morning, a strident Foota Hype expressed his love for Spice, but dismissed her demand that he remove a post in which the Dancehall producer expressed disappointment at her headlining the Toronto Pride LGBTQ festival set for June 2022.

In one post, the Dark Knight producer said that he was aware that, unlike her light-skinned peer Shenseea, the Queen of Dancehall was not being given the respect she deserved internationally, and that performing at the event would not further her bid for ascension.   Foota also urged Spice to return whatever monies she has collected from the LGBTQ group.

“Don’t try the wrong and strong thing @spiceofficial gi dem back di money find excuse u nuh bruck,” Foota Hype wrote.  “Mi know it hurt say the international market nah gi u di respect and glory weh u deserve tru u nuh look spanish or close to white like @shenseea dem and dem still nah go gi u…”

“Don’t lose uself trying to win that battle do don’t destroy dancehall morality to please ur insecurities and ur ego its not too late to cancel the show and save ur integrity and ur career I love u but u fucc up this time do the right thing,” he added.

In rebuttal number two, the Cassava Piece native, who produced Spice’s Miss Universe hit on his Dark Knight Riddim, poked fun at her 24-hour ultimatum.

“It look like di dread a gi @spiceofficial di wrong weed fi smoke mek mi speed up di process mi nah delete nuttn suh 24 hr too long let’s go talk wah u know bout mi spill the tea pls just keep in mind is not a trainee yah ramp wid and mi know u looooooooong time so ready up,” he declared.

Less than two hours later Spice clapped back, but in a cool fashion though, and not caustic as many of Foota’s followers were expecting.

“Soon remove this Caption but I Don’t discriminate ‼️ I love all my fans no matter what race or their sexual preference, it’s not my decision to make.”

“So you’re upset because I’m performing at a pride event when you’ve been working for different pride organizers all your life? Well I’m very sorry but my music does not stop at your big stinking foot,” she said.

She pointed out that she was not in the habit of discriminating, that she was happy with her appearance, and labelled Foota as being duplicitous stating that he, among other things, had male entertainer friends who were putting Sapphic scenes in their music videos.

“I never told you I wanted to be white or Spanish looking I’m extremely happy just the rich way I am, so stop the madness , You knowingly have lesbian and gay friends, that you and I both know, so I’m confused at this hypocrisy,” she said.

“The amount of your male artist friend that you have that have girls kissing girls in music videos and singing about 3 sums, it wasn’t homosexuality then or ruining the culture? Or is it only homosexualilty when it’s not pleasing you? All I want is for you to just make everything make sense or is it only when a “SPICE” unu have a problem.”

“Well hear what? Long story short, a homosexual interviewed you at the USA embassy and give you work visa so that you can come America come work and make “MONEY” so if you run back the USA visa I’ll run back the money 💰 run, run, run, run , run . RUN BACK THE VISA AND THE GREEN CARD AND I RUN BACK THE MONEY. Mi done chat to you, mi well busy sorry. TORONTO CANADA 🇨🇦 I’ll see you soon,” she wrote.

Spice received support from Jada Kingdom, who wrote: “Let’s celebrate! 🎉🌈🥳🎈🏳️‍🌈”

On Wednesday, Foota had expressed displeasure that Spice had been booked to headline the Toronto Pride Festival, declaring, among other things, that he was ashamed of what she had done.

By Thursday morning, the Calabar High School old boy was joined by Dancehall/Reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji, who, in contending that ‘righteousness, Reggae and homosexuality do not go together’, denounced Spice’s headlining of the Toronto Pride LGBTQ festival.

Spice has responded to the No Apology singer in another Instagram post, where she wrote, “@therealsizzlakalonji Come make mi “pull out” you turban and whine pan yuh back way.”
