Dancehall star Shenseea has seemingly responded to her former stablemate TeeJay, who added fuel to recent speculation that there was a rift between herself and their former manager Romeich Major, following the news that she was now managed by Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby.

When the management announcement was made earlier this week, Major shared a cryptic Instagram post that called out unnamed people who only “love you” so they can use you.  “Their loyalty ends where the benefits stop. Have a great Tuesday,” he added. Like the fake boob job stunt in June, many fans believed it was all just a marketing ploy to keep them talking about Shenseea in the lead up to the release of her debut album and its first single, Run Run.

However, Dancehall deejay TeeJay, who reportedly left the Romeich Entertainment camp earlier this year, took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday and wrote, “All a this because of one gyal. Lol so no loyalty nuh Deh again,” seemingly in response to Major’s “loyalty” post earlier that morning.

With the release of Run Run set for tonight, Shenseea penned a shady tweet this morning, that seemingly addressed the Owna Lane deejay, and which suggested that he had been trying to push her out of the camp. “Artiste vex over me because me deh a RomeichEnt when dem come ya come see me! Joke dis!” she wrote. “How me fi invite you a MY house and you wa try kick ME out.”

Stunt-weary Dancehall fans, however, are not buying this latest episode, even though the split appears to be ‘Instagram official’ — Teejay no longer follows either Shenseea or Romeich on the platform.

“Honestly, I know that controversy sells but please mi need Shenseea fi be different from the rest. Don’t feed into attention like that whether it’s a publicity stunt or not,” one wrote in response to the shady tweet.

“We’re gonna listen to the album / new song Shenseea, you ain’t need to do all this,” another added.  “Dem ah listen di new song muma, this no necessary,” another agreed.

“Damn unu all unfollow each other fi mek the beef look real, I respect it,” one fan said.

One believer commented, “Shenseea doesn’t bother anyone but is constantly picked on. It’s very wack. I’m glad she stays above that bs too. They’re mad bc she’s pretty, talented, and getting several bags.”

TeeJay joined Major’s Romeich Entertainment family in 2018.  At that time, Shenseea had already called the label home for three years. The two artists collaborated on the 2019 song Car Seatwhich was jointly produced by Teejay’s Top Braff Music and Romeich Entertainment.

The Shub Out deejay, who’s now signed to Sharon Burke’s Solid Agency, broke his silence about the split for the first time last month, and had said there were no issues between himself and his former colleagues.

“Mi haffi make the people dem know … there is no bad vibes between me and Romeich Entertainment. Never, you get me!” he told the SunVibes Show with Supa Hype. “We and Romeich Entertainment good. A mi bredda you get me.”

“We nuh do drama, we nuh do the drama ting … mi kinda different, mi humble,” the Up Top Boss added.

TeeJay is also expected to release his debut album this summer, dubbed Rags To Riches with features from Rygin KingSkillibengJada Kingdom, Dexta Daps, and more.

A single with Kingdom, titled Love Experience, will be released tomorrow and TeeJay has been hinting that all the drama has been over “this one song”.

In recent weeks, other artists like Shane O, Queen Nikki and Squash, have employed stunts to promote their new music.
