Dancehall artist Alkaline appeared on Audiomack’s Fine Tuned series today, performing his hit singles Cree and Ocean Wave to live acoustics provided by guitarist Elijah Rawk.

Continuing in their commitment to supporting and highlighting global talents within the digital entertainment space and producing quality, original content, Audiomack aims to give music fans and creators alike an insider’s perspective that is rarely shared with the general public.

Appearing on Audiomack’s series, couldn’t have been a more opportune for ‘Champion Boy’ Alkaline. The artist is priming the release of his sophomore album, Top Prize coming May 14.

Alkaline‘s team announced the compilation will come complete with 14 tracks and is a “discography of music that is suited for all demographics.”

They said the album’s title Top Prize is “a testament of victory against all odds” as the entertainer remains focused on continued musical ascendancy.

Alkaline’s manager/sister Kereena Beckford told THE STAR that her brother has been working consistently over the years and says the new album will reflect that.

“He has been working over the years and it’s always a good feeling to have a complete package and something that is a project that’s well-executed. His fans will be very appreciative of what he has put together. I love it. I am a proud manager and sister to the artiste and talent that is Alkaline. I mean with his accomplishments over the years, who wouldn’t be proud,” she said.

Audiomack’s Fine Tune has several more exciting features lined up for the spotlight, including Konshens in May, who also has an upcoming album.

The performances will see musical features pairing their vocals with a live instrumentalist for an intimate rendition of their biggest hits. The streaming platform’s original series has presented huge international acts in their past episodes, some of which include, Akon, Ne-Yo, Davido, and Lil Durk.

Dancehall’s lady-killer, Kranium was the only other Jamaican act to be featured back in February 2019.

Expectations are high for Alkaline’s new Top Prize album.  The singer just received his Billboard plaque for his first LP New Level Unlocked (2016), which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Album Chart.

The new album’s title track, Top Prize, already dropped in February amassing more than 2.4 million views since then.
