Veteran Dancehall artist Mr. Vegas is well known for how passionately he speaks about various issues on his Instagram Live discussions.  That passion was branded as emotional by Tu-Loxx, a label that Vegas has said he’s fine with.

The two were in an online dust-up last week after Vegas shared his thoughts on dancer, Silent Ravers, being associated with transwoman Little Kev.  Mr. Vegas said that he felt the dancer may have been set up, while Tu-Loxx disagreed.  Loxx also suggested that the Heads High singer should not be defending Ravers, because he too, was previously accused of being a homosexual.

Vegas, in turn, reacted by calling Loxx ‘shakey’ for his interest in the Ravers’ issue.

Tu-Loxx clapped back by calling Vegas ‘overly-sensitive’. “Show me one part a di video, di video public, weh mi disrespect yuh, where mi call yuh fish? But cause yuh overly-sensitive like condom yuh just go pon a rant without even having any kind of facts. And when yuh start yuh rant fi show yuh seh yuh never do no research, yuh no intellectual or intelligent none a tall” he said during his last My Tu-Sense Podclass episode.

Mr. Vegas defended himself in an another Instagram Live where he noted that his emotions were normal for any human being and that there was no shame in owning up to your emotions.

“Him a seh me is emotional so me is a female, and basically him a seh him is a man, him logical,” Vegas said.

“Yuh never too old fi learn mi general… Yuh see weh yaa call emotion and logics? Every human have it. Some people have a little bit more based on abnormality and some people have a little less based on abnormality… It’s like you a tell we seh a woman cya man society because she’s not logical, she too emotional…” he added.

The singer described Tu-Loxx’s comments as misogynistic and questioned the logic of the implications.

“When a man a come tell unno bout the man logical and the woman illogical, is rubbish, it actually is being misogynistic and of course there is a pattern of Tu-Loxx being misogynistic… Him have three, four posts (videos) where him call the woman dem termites and b*tches… Maybe a woman hurt him. Woman hurt me but me nah go have up every woman fi it. Mi think seh yuh have a problem with women.”

Vegas continued to lay into Tu-Loxx, questioning his approach to life.

“Me a deal wid nature. Me a deal wid masculine and feminine energy bredda. Me a deal with duality, you a deal with masculine energy because you want to be such a male dominant figure where woman must just gwaan mek noise and den yuh nuh pay her no mind because she always want to be right and then yuh parallel me with that. That’s the way you think about your mother?” he asked.
