Dancehall nice again! This week there are some exciting new tracks and music videos that will surely reel you in. Ding Dong and Intence both give us their conversational-style episodes of some pretty riveting stories spiked in suspense and drama. Skillibeng is up to his usual trouble, this time the “plane crash wid di coke,” and he’s at sea to retrieve the merchandise.

Popcaan gives us two heavy doses of upliftment with his new tracks Win and Medal, as he croons to the grassroots to have faith and work hard no matter what it is you do in life. Blvk H3ro also has some encouragement to share but intrinsically speaks the language of the youths, he tells them to “chop e line”, hustle hard and go get what they want out of life.

Blvk H3ro – Go Fi Mine (Chop E Line)

Dancehall neophyte Blvk H3ro has a wealth of wisdom to share with those struggling to unlock the gateway to success. His new single, Chop E Line, reveals that it is the grit and the hustle that one has to possess to achieve any victory in life. Even if you’re a tractor driver, gas pump attendant, taxi driver, street vendor, garbage collector, or road worker, Blvk H3ro portrays himself as each in the music video to show you the hustle is still the same. Vybz Kartel – Popstyle

Dancehall artiste, Vybz Kartel delivered last week with another new single, Popstyle. The track is a smooth sounding dispatch to the young ladies out there to up their standards and “popstyle” on these brutes that will try to get under their skirts. “Nutt’n good in a life nuh come easy. You nuh frighten fi boy, you too pretty. A boy a look you, yuh fi popstyle … You nuh easy like 1, 2, 3, it nuh work suh,” he verses. Watch more below –

Spice – Watch My Life

Come one, come all, Queen Spice invites everyone to Watch My Life in this vibrant new single. She knows she’s “hotta dan espresso” and “look good nuh bloodcl—t,” and isn’t shy to flaunt it. Just check out the deejay rocking out her ‘Louis V and straight Graci Noir’ outfits with her ever-ready blue lace front wigs, exuberant lashes, long scissor-sharp manicure, and more here –

Skillibeng – Coke

Dancehall dynamite, Skillibeng sure made the news with the release of his new single Coke last week. Jumping aboard the small aircraft that crashed in Rocky Point, Clarendon, Jamaica recently, the deejay used the incident to premise his new song: “Di plane just crash wid di coke … di pilot crash wid di coke. Mi glad seh di plane land and it nuh blow up.” Watch the video here –

Aidonia – Fever Temperature

The 4th Genna Boss, Aidoina says he can take “any boy gyal”, whether they’re loyal or not so men you better hold on to your ladies. The spiking hot, ‘tall dark and handsome’ Fever Temperature deejay flexes his irresistibility in this new release. Watch as he auctions himself as “priceless” in the 20K Cinema directed visuals below –

Ding Dong & Teejay – Stray Pt Few

In part 2 or as Ding Dong has dubbed it, Stray Pt Few of his previously released single Stray, the story picks up with Mobay’s very own Up Top Boss, Teejay coming to his rescue. After being caught cheating with a “clean skin with a pretty likkle face” female acquaintance by her man, Ding is trapped in the house with no escape but Teejay arrives with guns blazing! Iwaata – Bou Yahh

Ever wondered who ran the streets in places like Denham Town and Grants Pen? Well, Dancehall deejay Iwaata says, “Ah we run bou yah.” He’s the talk of the town, from the MarkX parked up at his gate, to his “bad man fashion,” Iwaata images himself as the street don for a couple of dodgy precincts in the area. Fyah Roiall Featuring SOS Dynamikz & Lincoln 3dot – Choppa

Jamaican ‘grimehall’ rapper Fyah Roiall and Reggae singer Lincoln 3dot aren’t falling or all this Choppa talk with these other Dancehall acts. “Niggas nah chop sht just ah chat. Dawg, tell di truth, you naw move sht,” Fyah Roiall scolds to rubbish these claims. 3dot also calls out the fakers who claim to be Choppas, “but yuh life still haad, live ina yuh modda yaad”. Denyque – Watch Him Tone

Leave it to Dancehall songbird, Denyque to keep things real. The singer released new visuals for her single, Watch Him Tone, where she tells her man “Is either yuh a guh broke and keep it loyal to me or have up yuh money and do yuh likkle ting.” She’ll turn a blind eye to his cheating just as long as she knows she’s in it for something, but it’s not easy. The scenes show her taking out her frustrations with her therapist. Watch more here –

Tommy Lee Sparta – Holding On

He may look tough on the outside but Goth Lord, Tommy Lee Sparta says he’s barely Holding On in his latest release. All the negative chatter in the streets is just taunting the Dancehall deejay. The new visuals scenario a plot of deceit, which ends in bloodshed and tears, Watch it here –

Elephant Man – She Dweet

Inviting audiences into his ginormous crib, Elephant Man shows us how he hosts an erogenous spree with a whole bunch of freaks in the new visuals for his previously released single She Dweet. Watch it here –

HoodCelebrityy – Ungrateful

New York-based Dancehall artist, HoodCelebrityy has a new visual cover for her single Ungrateful, which finds the 29-year old Portmore native simply up to her neck with all these unappreciative leeches in her life. Being chauffeured around the Big Apple in a sleek black Lamborghini and in other shots laying down some smooth Dancehall inspired dance moves, check out the video here –

Popcaan – Win

Dancehall artiste, Popcaan released a new uplifting ballad Win this weekend with an accompanying music video. The single is a mantra about winning at all things in life. Coming from humble beginnings of his own, Poppy sings his encouraging words in sincere dials to show the youths that they too can achieve greatness no matter what their situation is right now. The video plots a basketball game to teach a lesson of maintaining focus and strategic work ethic to ultimately Win at the game. Watch the visuals here –

Popcaan – Medal

Call this the follow-up track to Win, his track Medal released the same day where Popcaan portrays himself as one of life’s greatest achievers, “Mi work hard fi wah mi want dawg, full a ambition, nuh fraid fi buss a sweat,” he says drawing comparisons to many iconic go-getters like Usain Bolt, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and more. In this intriguing conversational style new single Aids Test, Dancehall artiste, Intence relays a gripping tale of the time he had a wild night with an irresistible young miss in the neighborhood, but it turned out he might have messed with the wrong girl.
