Blvk H3ro ‘Chops The Line’ In New Single: Watch

Dancehall music’s new-gen artist Blvk H3ro is on a mission to lead by example in his new single Go Fi Mine/Chop E Line.

Produced by Dunrich Muzik, the track debuted on YouTube at the close of the month with an accompanying music video to show the young artist hitting his hustle hard.

In this ambitious new release, the music video shows Blvk H3ro taking on the challenging role of several rudimentary jobs to portray a lesson of tenacity. “Everyday mi go fi mine, get up and brush mi teet and chop e line,” he sings while assuming the posts of a tractor driver, gas pump attendant, taxi driver, street vendor, garbage collector and road worker, and going hard at it in each scene.

The Young Boss singer demonstrates what it truly means to “chop e line” in any job or task. The term is a popular Jamaica saying that means hustling or going towards an ambition/goal in life. Blvk H3ro wanted to take another step further by showing how everyday jobs that we take for granted is also a form of ‘chopping the line’.

So no matter how small a job or task may be, Blvk H3ro says keep pushing on, “I beg yuh go fi yours like how mi go for mine.” Though the salary may not be much for jobs such as these, he still urges preserving one’s savings and also working overtime if needs be, “Mi pull a 10% aside. Done rich and working overtime, yeah we triple up we double up we coins.”

The energetic go-getter says he has no time for losers, in more verses he goes on, “Mi can’t respect a man if him nuh have nuh ambition. In this Gideon, you trust, mi haffi set a plan, … do it consistently persistently, bolt speed, finish line you know we gone reach.”
