Wayne Marshall put his wife Tami Chin-Mitchell on the spot when he quoted the clean version of Gage’s hit song Good P—y Gyal and she didn’t know who the Dancehall artiste was.

During one of their recent YouTube uploads, Wayne and Tami set off on a random date and he explained to his audience that his goal was to surprise his wife and be more spontaneous. Tami, who was busy eating her box lunch, appeared non-committal to his plans for the day and he asks, “Wha yuh wan, think bout sump.  Wha happen to yuh, yuh gwan like yuh too modest sometime, man.”

“Good gyal fi get good tings, yuh never hear weh Gage seh inna him song?” Marshall said.

Tami replies, “Who?”

Wayne, who was surprised that she didn’t know who the popular artiste was, said, “Yuh know nuh know bout Gage?”

After the Certified Diva singer inquired if he was a rapper, Wayne laughs and says, “Yuh nuh know bout dancehall ennuh my girl mi haffi guh teach her”.

Tami was apologetic, asked for their viewers’ forgiveness, and maintained that she means no disrespect.

Wayne shared the clip from the episode to his Instagram yesterday with the caption: “Two takeaways here: 1. Good gal fi get good tings.  2. Tami needs a dancehall refresher course 🤣😂 #mtmfamily”

One fan said they loved how sincere Tami was in her apology, “I love how sincere she was when she said she didn’t mean any disrespect because we all know how we as Jamaicans are”.

Another excused her not knowing Gage because they said she can dance, “Tami CAN dance to the songs… That’s all that matters..”.

Apparently, Tami isn’t the only one who doesn’t know Gage, another follower commented, “She’s not alone. I have no clue who that is. Never even know somebody name suh.”

On the other hand, people familiar with Gage said, “Teach har😁😁.. Bad Artist GAGE”.

Gage may even see an uptick in his YouTube views this week as another added, “Going over YouTube to look up Gage too.”  The track’s official music video currently has 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Tami and Wayne have been enjoying success with their YouTube channel Meet the Mitchells. With regular videos, they give their over 100,000 subscribers a peek into their family life, earning them recognition as one of Jamaica’s favorite YouTube couples.
