Dancehall superstar Popcaan says he misses performing on stage shows.

The ‘Unruly Boss’ took to Instagram to share “jah know me miss stage show yo f__k, ppl how much more longer unu think before we can do this again?” he wrote below a picture of him onstage at an event in front of a massive crowd.

OVO boss Drake was quick to comment under the post “Next unruly fest will be a mawdddaz” to which OVO signee Popcaan replied “no joke bra”.

popcaanstageDancehall artiste Quada commented “Corona mash up mi life (face palm emoji) anytime the place free up a trouble any stage show unruly touch (with some fire emojis).

Dre Island commented “no joke me fam”, with some sad face emojis and Jesse Royal looked worried with his comment.

Dancer Desha Ravers commented, “A swear I miss it too”.

Since the onset of the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, the entertainment sector has been majorly affected with events cancelled leading to massive fall out in revenue. Major shows like Reggae Sumfest have had to reorganized themselves or have been canceled because of the pandemic.

However, it’s not like the St Thomas native has been sitting at home and twiddling his thumbs since things got crazy because of the virus. In August he released an album entitled FIXTAPE which has received rave reviews.

Dancehall Queen, Spice, recently got the opportunity to perform on stage and she went big. Doing her bit at a show in New Jersey, she has probably made Dutty Wine a thing again.

Jamaican entertainers are known for their onstage prowess and Popcaan is no exception. Beenie Man and Bounty Killer recently showed the world what they were missing on a Verzuz live event and the world can’t wait for stage shows to come back.
