Dancehall music producer, Shabdon is extremely excited about his new World Government Riddim. The composition officially released today Friday, January 10 and features a long list of heavy weight dancehall acts such as Vybz Kartel, Squash, Chronic Law, Teejay, Shawn Storm, Rygin King, Daddy1, Ding Dong, Demarco, Sikka Rymes and Lisa Hyper among others.

The producer has been promoting the riddim by teasing fans on his Instagram page for some time now, and it is expected to be another big hit.

Three days ago at midnight on January 7th (Kartel’s 44th birthday), Shabdon paid homage to the Worl’ Boss by announcing the release of Kartel’s music video for the flagship track on the riddim also titled World Government.

Rygin King’s track New Machine is one of the songs the producer used to demonstrate the riddim’s versatility and flow. The official audio premiered on YouTube today, already sounding like a hit as the profound talent of Rygin King skillfully works the riddim with his unique style.

6ix member Chronic Law’s track, Cya Stop Bad is another great player on the riddim, plying a sharp hardcore sound.

In Squash’s Mighty, he presents his lyrics with his usual swag fully highlighting how adaptable the riddim truly is.

Another 6ix member, Daddy1 brings an unfamiliar style with his gyalist track Trending King.

As expected, Ding Dong has a crafty way of transforming any beat into a dancers anthem and that he did. His track Fi Wi Dancehall reverberates off the riddim creating a consistent flow of melodic pulses that is doomed to blow up any nightclub scene.

Musical genius Teejay also has a great feature on the World Government riddim.  His song High Grade is head bopping symphony combining catchy deejaying and tempting vocals exclusive to the artiste’s style.

The dominant voice of Gaza member Lisa Hyper is also worth mention for how she captures the tone of the riddim too, her track Gaza First Lady sounds raw yet unchallenging complete with some bad gal rhymes like the opening verse: “If ah gyal feel bad, just tek a Andrews.”

Lisa’s Gaza counterpart and self-styled VP of the family, Sikka Rymes also adds some flashy lyrics in his single Loyalty spitting lines like “mi loyalty talk fi mi, everything a gwan fi mi, hot up the place like a pot of hominy, buy two benz cah mi neva born wid it, house bigga den round a central village”. The song is indeed a great play on the beat as well.

No Sketts is Shawn Storm’s track on the riddim, this too is expected to get a lot of attention with its hard hitting lyrics along with the deejay’s musical dexterities ripping up the World Government beat.

Demarco comes in with a badman tune called Sinking Boat.

The World Government Riddim features 5 other tracks.
