Dancehall fans around the world are all too familiar with the sight of Elephant Man delivering high energy performances in both music videos and on stage. His sets are usually full of endless dance moves and adventurous stunts such as climbing on speaker boxes and even the rails of the set itself. Recently however, the rightfully dubbed Energy God has been allowing his followers exclusive insight into his latest endeavour in becoming healthier.

On his official Instagram page – @elephantmanjamaica, Oneil Bryan as he was named at birth, can be seen working up a sweat both in and out of the gym – speed pedaling, throwing and ducking jabs and even lifting tires – all the while with his no nonsense personal trainer Patrice White prodding him along.

Fans of Elephant Man have been sharing these workout clips across multiple social media platforms especially on Twitter, adding their comments on just how entertaining Elephant Man is even when he’s not trying to be. Some even suggested that they would tune in to every episode should Ele decide to have his fitness journey televised or recorded for a web series.

“Come man Ele, 10 more” – Patrice can be heard encouraging a sweat soaked Ele to give it all he’s got and although it is evident that he is definitely dedicated to his training, ever so often he voices his objections – “A prison dis?” to which Patrice retorts – “Yaw nuh Energy God, you is a fraud!”

Ele recently released a new track called “Find It” that has been causing quite a buzz on the UK Charts and fans can only assume that there is more to come. It seems Elephant Man has plans for his music career this coming new year and these clips give us a peek into his preparation process. There is no doubt that it takes a certain level of fitness to facilitate Ele’s high energy antics on stage.

Ele apparently, is not the only dancehall artiste on a mission for building muscles in the gym – Popcaan recently posted a post work out video of himself dripping sweat while telling his fans that they keep him motivated and he’s here to return the favour.

“Healthy living! More water, less sugar!” Poppy says just before the clip ends.
