Lila Ike is giving the deluxe era of Treasure Self Love some extra mileage, and she’s doing it through a Zion I Kings remix.

The Jamaican singer just shared brand new visuals for the Zion I Kings version of “Love in a Lovely Way,” announcing on Facebook that the clip is “out now!!”

The video was shot and directed by Remi Laudat, whom Lila credited directly in the post with a fire emoji for good measure.

She tagged the release with #TreasureSelfLoveDeluxe, which places this new version firmly within the expanded edition of her project.

The producer credit is what makes this one interesting. Zion I Kings has built its name as a production collective with deep roots in roots reggae, the live-instrument, one-drop tradition.

Handing “Love in a Lovely Way” to that camp signals a lean toward the classic side of the genre rather than a polished pop-crossover rework.

That fits the path Lila has walked so far. She came up through Protoje’s In.Digg.Nation Collective, the same circle that has spent years championing a modern reggae revival.

Her 2020 EP The ExPerience introduced her to a wider audience, and Treasure Self Love carried that momentum forward with a stronger focus on self-worth and inner peace.

Deluxe editions in reggae often work as a second chance for a project. Alternate versions and remixes can pull a song in front of listeners who missed it the first time, or let longtime fans hear a familiar track in a new setting.

A Zion I Kings treatment could do both, giving the song credibility with roots heads while keeping it in rotation for Lila’s existing base.

There are two ways to read the move. Some listeners will treat a roots-leaning version as the truer home for her voice, which has always sat comfortably over live-band arrangements.

Others may see deluxe remixes as a way to stretch a project’s lifespan rather than push something new, a familiar debate whenever artists revisit material instead of dropping fresh singles.

For now, Lila is letting the hashtags do the framing: #LoveinaLovelyWay, #ReggaeMusic, and the deluxe tag front and center.

She hasn’t said in this post whether more Zion I Kings collaborations or further deluxe visuals are on the way.

With Remi Laudat behind the camera and a deluxe rollout clearly in motion, the question is how far Lila plans to take this chapter. If this is the first of several reimagined tracks, Treasure Self Love may still have a few surprises left.
