Four people reportedly suffered stab wounds after a fight between Playboi Carti’s and LUCKI’s camps spilled out next to the Los Angeles Convention Center during ComplexCon. TMZ reported the injury count, and the footage circulating online backs up how chaotic things got.
The videos surfaced on Oct. 3 and show a large crowd throwing hands right beside the venue. Several people are clearly involved, and the melee is said to have been between the two rappers’ crews.
One clip appears to show Carti watching the whole thing from a nearby car. Another is harder to watch, with LUCKI seeming to have a large laceration on his neck as people help him into a vehicle.
LUCKI’s fans didn’t have to wait long for some relief. A fan page dedicated to the Chicago rapper says it confirmed through DMs with him that he is OK.
The spark, according to one witness, was Destroy Lonely. That account says Lonely and LUCKI were arguing when Lonely threw a punch, and both crews jumped in from there.

That detail makes more sense once you know Destroy Lonely is part of Carti’s Opium label, which explains how a personal feud ended up pulling in Carti’s whole camp. Carti himself hasn’t been shown taking part in the fighting, at least not in the clips that have made the rounds so far.
The bad blood between LUCKI and Lonely isn’t new. It reportedly started in the summer of 2024 with relationship drama tied to Lonely’s ex girlfriend, which is the kind of thing that usually stays in group chats and comment sections.
It didn’t stay there. Lonely seemed to aim a shot at LUCKI by rapping that he had “surpassed” his favorite rappers, and LUCKI fired back by questioning Lonely’s credibility and his Opium affiliation.
What followed was a long stretch of subliminals and direct shots between the two. Fans have spent months picking apart lyrics and social posts, but very few expected the back and forth to end with people bleeding outside a convention center.
The location adds another layer to the story. ComplexCon is built around sneakers, streetwear and music, the kind of event where artists and fans share the same crowded space, and a fight of this size right outside raises obvious questions about security around the festival.

There are two ways fans are reading this so far. Some see it as the predictable result of a beef that kept escalating in public, while others are frustrated that a dispute rooted in personal drama put people in the hospital.
XXL says it has reached out to both Carti’s and LUCKI’s teams for comment. Neither side has said anything publicly yet, and nobody has explained who was responsible for the stabbings.
For now, the clips are doing all the talking, and the internet is already dissecting every frame. The next move from Lonely, LUCKI or Carti could decide whether this cools off or gets even uglier.
