Dancehall couple KipRich and Kizzy Don have established a GoFundMe page to raise US$250,000 to defray medical expenses to care for their baby daughter, Miracle, who was born prematurely last Friday, while they were in Colombia, South America.

Baby Miracle weighed in at one and a half pounds (700 grammes) and is presently stable, and receiving 24 hour medical care from the medical staff at a hospital in San Andres.

“She’s stable in the incubator in the hospital in Colombia … she was born at six months one week and she is getting 24 hour care. Last night, there were six nurses around Miracle, they are doing everything in their power to keep her alive. She did a transfusion yesterday and she is taking the blood well, the nurses said,” Kiprich told DancehallMag.

KipRich had travelled to perform at a show on the main island of San Andres off the coast of Colombia on Saturday, January 17. Kizzy Don, 28, a popular content creator on social media and an up-and-coming entertainer, had accompanied KipRich on the trip overseas.

The archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina, is located in the Caribbean Sea. For serious or specialized medical conditions, evacuation to the Colombian mainland (Bogotá or Medellín) is often necessary.

The two have been very public about their relationship journey online, sharing details with fans, and have built up quite a following on various social media platforms. Kizzy, whose real name is Danielle Banton, has close to 300,000 followers on TikTok alone.

“We’re asking for assistance from the public. We don’t have any insurance in San Andreas, so each day, we get a bill, we have to pay for each day she is in the hospital, we have to pay for her having the baby in the hospital, for all the medications the baby ah get. Thus far, mi get a bill for like 13 million pesos, that is about US$3000 and that is for the baby alone, her (Kizzy) bill is different, and I don’t even know how much the transfusion is going to cost,” he shared.

Kiprich said the air ambulance is going to cost US$15,000 plus a team of doctors will have to go with the baby.

There is an additional fee for accommodation at the medical facility in Bogota, Colombia, plus the probable cost for the air ambulance to transport Kizzy and Miracle to the United States will cost the couple an additional US$98,000.

“Do the maths, this is a lot, so we’re making an appeal to the public for whatever assistance they can give,” Kiprich said.

On Christmas Day 2025, KipRich, who is already a father, announced that he and Kizzy were expecting their first child together. The announcement caused a frenzy with lots of congratulatory messages from friends and followers.

The GoFundMe has so far raised $3,728 of the $250,000 goal.
