Rickey Teetz Gears Up For Guyana Show

Montego Bay-based dancehall artiste Rickey Teetz is eagerly anticipating yet another Caribbean show this year as he is one of the headliners at a dancehall show at the Ultra lounge in Guyana on May 2nd.
“I always enjoy performing for the Guyanese people because of their love for dancehall music. I have a growing fan base in the Caribbean and the diaspora and I am really focused this year on expanding my reach in these countries,” he said.
The Lighters Up artiste recently did a gig in Trinidad where he performed at the popular Spas Night Club.
He is ramping up the promotion of his new songs as the busy summer period approaches.To that end, he released a new song called ‘Dark Heart’ which has generated over 20,000 views on YouTube.
“I am getting ready to shoot another music video for another banger in May, it’s all work for Rickey Teetz, just songs pon top of songs, all topics, party songs, conscious songs, I am working with a lot of top producers,” he said.
Rickey Teetz has had a hard knock life, enduring events such as losing his father at a young age and then living through the trauma of watching his mother have a nervous breakdown. These experiences have giving him a unique perspective on life.
He is best known for songs such as 1000 Block, Lighters Up, Dolla and his latest single, ‘Prime’ which has racked up 10,000 views on Youtube since its release.
Rickey Teetz will be performing at All White 3.0 in Sunderland District on April 26th, and other shows coming up include ‘God is the Greatest’ on May 6th and Keneil Merital Birthday Bash on May 20th.
