Bounty Killer Returns To UK After 15 Years

After 15 years, Dancehall artist Bounty Killer finally touched down on UK soil! The 5-star general, who was obviously over the moon about the occasion, shared a few clips to social media to celebrate.

“If it ain’t rough it ain’t for me firm & strong easy comes easily goes if it’s too easy mi don’t even want it dawg 💪🏿💪🏿,” were his words of reflection on a clip of himself walking through the airport.

Three weeks ago, the Bullet Proof Skin deejay revealed that his British visa was reinstated. It appears that the stars aligned in his favor as it came right after the release of his and Cham’s Time Bomb EP. As true visionaries, both artists have taken the opportunity to promote the project in the UK.

Another photo of a visibly glad Bounty was posted with his arms stretched as if to evoke freedom.

“Time is the master I told them it’s not scallion after 15 yrs Loondoon,” he wrote.

It is well-known by now that Bounty has had several visa woes. He, along with other Dancehall giants like Beenie Man, Sizzla, Aidonia, and Mavado also had their U.S. visas revoked in 2010. The U.S. Embassy did not state the reason for the revocation back then but subsequently reissued Aidonia and Mavado with their visas.

In May 2020, there were fresh calls for both Beenie Man and Bounty Killer to be given back their US visas, following the duo’s performance on the VERZUZ show

One of his supporters asked how he felt about being back in the European country, and he responded, “Elated that I’m anointed.”

Queen of Dancehall Spice was also present in the comments to send her regards.

“Den a why mi feel so happy and excited, I wish I was there to see this performance, cause none a dem no know the song dem like meeeeee peooople dead 💣 bung banggggggg 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”

Another fan added, “Dancehall in its most authentic form has landed in England give the warlord a stadium 🏟️ “
