Grammy-award-winning Reggae singer Koffee is buzzing, not only about her soon-to-be-released debut album, but also her feature on Nigerian rapper Cruel Santino’s sophomore album titled Subaru Boys: FINAL HEAVEN.

Koffee took to her Instagram story yesterday to repost Cruel Santino’s album tracklisting, highlighting her feature on the album on a song titled Deadman Bone.  She wrote enthusiastically “Lets Goooooooo” alongside the Nigerian and Jamaican flags.

The Grammy Kid continued to show her enthusiasm by commenting “Murdaaaaaa 😤😤😤” on Santino’s Instagram post about the project.  On Twitter yesterday, he also shared teasers of each track including Deadman Bone, on which Koffee’s signature sound can be heard with the vocals “Hey Santi”.

The Deadman Bone teaser is similar to the longer preview that Cruel Santino had shared on his Instagram story last year March.

Cruel Santino is largely recognized as one of the African continent’s rising stars.  His blend of pigin and patois with English falls within the genre called Nigerian alte (which stands for alternative) as it is a melting pot of several musical forms including Dancehall, Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop and AfroPop. His second album, Subaru Boys: FINAL HEAVEN follows his 2019 studio debut Mandy & the Jungle studio.

Subaru Boys, a 21-track album, is set to release on March 4.

Subaru Boys: FINAL HEAVEN is broken up into multiple arcs and includes several other features such as Nigerian singers Amaarae, WifiGawd, Maison2500 and Skepta.

Meanwhile, Koffee has announced and previewed the release of her next single Pull Up which is expected to join West Indies on her debut album Gifted.
