Minister Marion Hall, formerly Queen of Dancehall Lady Saw, gave her social media followers a treat this afternoon with a whole new makeover.

Based on captions of the photo and video clip, it appears that her new look was for a photo shoot that will accompany a forthcoming track titled If I Was Famous/When I Was Famous.

In the video clip, Hall, 52, could be seen in a straight-haired wig, white satin dress, and a full face of soft glam makeup.  In the caption, she gave shoutouts to those who were part of her glam squad.

“I’m getting ready to drop my single ‘If I was famous/when I was famous’ Thank you @mariedriven & your team for making my shoot possible. Thankful for my niece @ms.shellyvito_ @shellyvito_hair for the install & Karen for providing the wig,” she wrote.

“No comments will be available from me or my team. Just wait for the song.”

“The song is also mastered and ready to go,” she added in the caption of the photo, where she flashed a bright smile.

Hundreds of her fans have been giving her rave reviews since she made the posts.

“You are looking so beautiful, God’s masterpiece ❤️❤️❤️,” one fan commented.
”Ma’am you’re beautiful and blessed. ❤️,” said another.

One more fan said, “You are looking blessed and highly favoured.”

“If Minister Hall ever backslide mi sorry fi unnuh 😂❤️❤️,” another follower said.

Since her baptism and retirement from the Dancehall arena in 2015, Minister Marion Hall has rocked more of a natural look and has fully immersed herself into the church.

In February, Hall, who is an ordained Minister, had responded frontally to critics regarding a photograph which she had shared on social media, in which she sported a cleavage-showing blouse while “out for lunch with the girls”.

She dismissed comments by some social media users who said she appeared to be ‘backsliding’ and declared that she was simply “dressing according to the occasion”.

Minister Hall’s debut gospel album, When God Speaks, peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart in 2017.  Her second gospel album His Grace (2018) included the fan-favorite track Tun Back Christians.

She started performing at the age of 15 and was probably best known for Lady Saw’s feature on No Doubt’s hit song, Underneath It All, for which, she won a Grammy Award.  As Lady Saw, she was also known for her hits If Him LefGood ManI’ve Got Your Man, Man Is The Least, and Sycamore Tree.

Earlier this year, Hall hinted that, while she isn’t returning to the genre, she will be releasing a Dancehall album.
