There is only one meal that Queen of the Dancehall Spice would prepare for Thanksgiving this year, or the first episode of her cooking show were she to have one, and it is not the expensive lobster, oxtail, and other ‘high-end’ faire that many of her fans imagined.

For the Bad Girl singer, that meal would be the humble chicken back and white rice, and with it being avocado season in Jamaica, slices of “pear”, as the fruit is known on the island.

Spice made her dish choice clear after The Shade Room shared a post asking their followers posted to imagine if Spice, Lil Boosie, Tay Tay, Offset, Queen and Blue had their own culinary television show.

“#TSRWhatIfz: We have seen quite a few celebrities show off their skills as they throw down in the kitchen. However, what if they were to take their talents to television? Swipe through and tell us which of these cooking shows you would watch,” was the question asked.

The post evoked much drama on The Shade Room, with many commenters claiming that Spice, being a Jamaican, was obviously a ‘big chef” as in their view, “all Jamaicans can cook” and they would tune in to her “Spice Up Ya Life show.

“Spice Jamaican I’m going to her restaurant,” kingsroyalcarriage  declared, while ladyy_vee__ added: “Spice cuz she’s Jamaican and I ain’t never met a Jamaican that can’t cook 😂”.

The comments got even more hilarious as some followers said Spice was the only celebrity on the list that they would eat from.

“I’m only eating from Spice period,” sexy_spicereid said.

“I’ll look at Spice and Boosie lol ion trust them other people maybe. Offset maybe he might have a good cookie recipe 😂😂,” beech_itzbee teased.

As the teasing continued, lowkeyy_jeremy32 mocked: “I probably only eat Spice’s food😂😂”, while __medusaoblongata declared: “Spice the only person in this line up eligible for a cooking show.😂”

Amidst calls for her to start a cooking show for real and being tagged over and over in the Shade Room post, Spice re-shared it on her own IG page and asked her fans to tell her which meal they would like her to prepare.

She responded to just one post that met her fancy, which was by flawed_2000, who suggested: “Curry chicken back wid white rice & a slice a pear”.

“@flawed_2000 Right yah so 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” was Spice’s affirmative reply.

Back over on The Shade Room, the majority voted for Spice, saying she would fix them a proper Jamaican dish, even as they continued to make teasing comments about the other entertainers.

“Spice will have the best food! Offset just serving ramen noodles and cheese,” kingofstyle1990 jeered, while

There were calls for oxtail, from many of the commenters among them, savage_renny who declared: “I can already tell spice can throw down some bomb ass oxtail in the kitchen” and djziddy who noted: “Spice kitchen would have the best food but probably would be stingy with the oxtail gravy. Lol”

“Don’t play with @spiceofficial her food and show would be a hitttttt. Sis pretty in the face and in the waist, and could cook. Is good steam fish, jerk chicken, ox tail, rice and peas,” prettyduni stated.

Some said Offset would only be good at making “jail food”, while others said they would watch Lil Boosie, who was next in line behind Spice, for comic relief.

“Boosie cooking show would be fire idc I’m for the ratchetness,” one commenter said, while 6starprince added: “Boosie gone cook some noodles and fried bologna stirring the noddles with his finger.”

“Boosie look like he finna serve us some uncooked ramen noodles😩,” keepingupwithlegacy jeered.

Spice has demonstrated her cooking skills multiple times in the past, and has even pointed out that she learned how to handle herself in the kitchen as a youngster, by observing her mother.  She had also pointed out that cooking came naturally to her, as her mother also operated a cook shop in the past.

During Thanksgiving in 2020, Spice had showed off her culinary prowess to her millions of fans, via a slew of dishes that she had prepared for her family, which included traditional Jamaican faire in the form of rice and peas, curried chicken, fish and oxtail, as well as the more continental potato salad, shrimp, crabs, lobster and salmon.
