Transition, Tommy Lee Sparta’s double album failed to chart after securing pure album sales of only 35 copies, according to MRC Data.

The incarcerated deejay’s album was released on November 5, a few months after he was sentenced to a three-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to the illegal possession of a gun and ammunition.

Tommy Lee, whose real name is Leroy Russell noted in the album press release that he hopes to transition into a different space in his current life, with more of a focus on his core brand and the more positive things he’s known for. The 26-track album, executively produced by Boss Muzik,  showcased his “ying-yang” personality with collaborations from Chronic Law, Laden, Skillibeng, Jahvillani, Honey Milan, Dre Swade, Stylo G, Acemark, Leaha, and his son Skirdle Sparta.

Meanwhile, topping the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart for its 97th week is Bob Marley and The Wailers’ Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and The Wailers at No. 1 followed by Shaggy’s The Best of Shaggy: Bombastic Collection at No. 2.

At No. 3 is the English Reggae Pop band UB40’s Greatest Hits, followed by Sean Paul’s Dutty Classic Collection at No. 4.

Stick Figure’s World on Fire holds No. 5, while Rebelution’s Live at Red Rocks has re-entered the chart at No. 6.

Appearing again are Stick Figure and Sean Paul with Set in Stone at No. 7, and Dutty Rock at No. 8 respectively.

Closing this week with a new entry is The Green’s Brand New Eyes at No. 9 and Light by Matisyahu at No. 10.

Shifting over to the YouTube Music Charts, Dancehall artist Skeng continues to dominate, and currently holds the Top 3 songs in Jamaica: Protocol, Heaven Passport and Gvnman Shift.

Skeng finds it again on Protocol, a collaboration with Tommy Lee Sparta which has racked up 1.2 million views in just 5 days. Protocol no doubt will be continuously well-received by patrons as with Heaven Passport featuring Intence and Gvnman Shift.

At No. 4 on the chart is Jashii’s 25/8 followed by Teejay’s Escobar at No. 5 and 450’s Journey at No. 6.

At No. 7 is Masicka’s Update, Teebone’s Petrified at No. 8 and Jashii reappearing with Keep Up at No. 9.

Closing the chart is Airplane Mode by Nation Boss and Chronic Law.
