Dancehall artist Shenseea is in hospital in the United States.

The Run Run singer, 25, made the revelation on her Instagram page on Wednesday (November 10) where she shared a photo of her wrist clad in a hospital band.

While not disclosing why she had been admitted into the hospital, Shenseea informed fans and promoters that she would miss out on four shows this upcoming weekend.

“Unfortunately I will not be attending all 4 events this weekend,” she wrote.

“To my shenyengz and promoters please understand as my health is truly at risk. I’ll be out for a while,” she added.

Upon seeing Shenseea’s post several industry players responded, wishing the entertainer a speedy recovery including former manager Romeich Major.

“Keep strong mama we here for you fully!!!!!! No one strong like my shenyeng,” said Major on IG.

“Oh no baby! Praying for your healing & renewed strength, “added fellow entertainer Denyque.

Others to share well wishes included artist Jada Kingdom, politician Lisa Hanna and former beauty queen Yendi Phillipps.

Shenseea has had a hectic couple of weeks, most recently she performed at Rolling Loud New York on October 30.  Her Rolling Loud performance came just days after she returned to the United States from the All Africa Festival in Dubai.

She was set to appear on a panel discussion titled “Destination Global” at this year’s staging of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ “Revolt Summit X AT&T” on Saturday, November 13, in Atlanta.
